The first time I had ever truly felt the pressure of saving a city completely under siege in a video game. This scene was phenomenal in such a stressful way as a kid. It made me understand that I wasn't just "fighting badguys" but rather I was the only hope for this city that hadn't the means of defending itself against a threat that only I could handle. I remember my brother yelling to me which building the Bonnes were going after and the stress of getting there to make sure they didn't cause any damage
This song has a lot of feeling, the sad melody almost at the end shows the despair of the island for not being able to stop the crimes of the pirates, being the only one who can help and knowing that in addition to destroying machines you have to protect the citizens and their houses, without a doubt one of the best games.
