Not really, i can assure you. I've Persian/Iranian roots (Iran is Persia)... This is rather more Persian styled than Arabian. In Sands of time, they used arabian styled soundtracks. But not in Warrior within.
i'm working on reverse engineering the jade engine, used in Beyond good and evil, Pop:Sands of time, WW, and TTT. It's fuckin almost impossible work man. But if I can get a reasonable approximation of the disassembly then drop it open source who knows, PoP community could build their own game! If anyones interested in digging into game code, hit me up
To be entirely honest, the characters and story were at best meh, to say nothing of the EDGE of warrior within, even the patina of nostalgia. But the gameplay though... damn
The women were kind of shallow. It was clear that they were made for guys' satisfaction. This is why most people prefer PoP 1 and 3 and not 2. Especially girl players. PoP 2 was about the music, the atmosphere. But I never enjoyed the weird camera angles, especially when Dahaka is chasing you and there's some stupid barrels...

"POMEGRANATES!" - wow character development 10/10 most of the enemies and movesets copied from WW but with worse graphics somehow because textures were absolute garbage. Camera? kept jumping around resetting itself, lots of bugs. anyone who prefers TTT is just triggered because WW didnt appeal to their fairytale sugary fantasy from sands of time
Metal chords are based off arabian music (near east music in general). Stuart Chatwood who was originally in The Tea Party has a pretty good understanding of Arabian and near east music (As do the rest of the members of former band the Tea Party). just putting in my two dirhams

But as time goes on, those who fall to age will be the last holders of the knowledge that this song exists. We are the lost lovers of this track. Like to join the age of remembrance if you agree.
please make a prince for the ps4 .......bring him back, ubisoft enouph with the assasins....make a remake or a the last two games for the ps3 in a disk for ps4.....i dream this age and this magic place.
I agree, assassins creed isn't horrible but it's had a good run. After the Ezio trilogy it had some low points and brought it self back up but is still getting worn out. It's time for the prince to come back and have his trilogy and the forgotten sands on ps4. And have a new story following the same one as the trilogy with the vizier but leading after the two thrones voiced by the same guy as the same prince. Easily the best series of all time in my opinion

I've lost the counting of how many times i've played Warrior Within. Its like 12 times on PS2, lost the disc, bought another one... +5 times...lost again...rent...PS2 blows up...install the PC version and a constant cycle of re-installing the game.

For the longest time I had a poster of The Prince up on my wall and everytime I worked out I would look at it and think, keep pushing, don't give in, don't give up, push past that thresh hold and overcome! I had quite a few intense workouts just thinking of how The Prince never gave up and kept fighting! Such a great game!

Prince of Persia warrior within and two thrones were my childhood favorites, the Prince is the most badass warrior of any game or movie. I'd like a new game where the original Prince is old and instead you play as his son saving the empire and Babylon from something sand related :)

This game is so radically different from the other PoP games, I just fucking love it. It has it's bugs but man, who shit their pants running from a time demon and fighting all those ghouls. The level design is gothic, and fits perfectly with the soundtrack and voice acting. We need another one of these.
They should've kept the Prince as the ultimate BADASS he was in Warrior Within but nah, they preferred ruin it all with Two Thrones (though I like all of the games from Sands of time trilogy)
Actually Farah's reintroduction into the Prince's life exorcizes his dark side. It's a wonderful story arc. I prefer Warrior Within, but the boss fights in Two thrones were more innovative & fun. Best damn trilogy ever made!

Please note that Prince holds his swords in every pose in a way that forms a beautiful W... for warrior.
Also please note that the Eagle Sword and Lion Sword never been in the hand of the prince at the same time. :)

Warrior Within was doubtless the greatest game of the Prince of Persia series.
this game was DARK, you really felt isolated playing it, but its satisfying when you finally beat it
