But they have an insane team but the league still has really good teams and they have choked in the playoffs a lot so idk what’s gonna happen in the playoffs
As a lifelong Dodger fan, this is the first time in the last ten years I’ve been thinking that the first place Dodgers might miss the playoffs even after the great off season acquisitions. Friedman can only do so much as the brilliant GM. What the Dodgers need to do is execute accordingly in a game plan they are more than capable of playing
Those 10 division wins seems kinda embarrassing with only one (shortened season) ring to show for it. It reeks more of failure than success. Lucky that they have a winning culture tho. I wonder when they will win the next one?
This entire year has been a series of fits and starts. They haven’t really hit their stride. The question is will they? Mookie is going to go back to RF and bat after Shohei. We will see how that plays out. Mookie seemed really happy to be in the IF but with Lux playing the way he is right now the Dodgers probably got a break with Mook agreeing to move AGAIN! Lots of question marks right now with all the returning players: Buehler, Miller, Brasier, Graterol, Kershaw, Yamamoto, Muncy, Taylor, Treinen, and Edman.
The injuries are absolutely a valid excuse. They have the highest amount of fWAR lost of any team by a WIDE margin. That's how beaten to hell this team is in terms of injury
@@The40Glock1 Best record in the NL without Mookie Betts, a top 5 player in the League. Wasting his talent? More like you’re wasting your time cuz you’re mad your team couldn’t afford him 😂 Angels fan?
Dodger fan here. The dodgers are one of ur not the best team in baseball when healthy. We’ve just been about as unlucky as we can be with injuries and it’s affected us. Freeman said in spring training that this year it’s more important than ever to stay healthy, and he was right. It happened to us in 2018, we got riddled with injuries and only won the division in a game 163 against the Rockies. We’ll get guys like Betts, Muncy, Edman, and Braiser back within the next couple of weeks, and we should be getting Yamamoto and Treinen back at the start of September. Now River Ryan’s out for the year, so that makes it even that much more important for the guys to get healthy soon. I think we’ll still win the division, and the playoffs can’t be any worse then last year. If anything this stretch will help us because we’ve already had to play competitive baseball before September, so it doesn’t come as a surprise suddenly in October.
bad luck? Friedman keeps resigning the same players with injury issues... Is it luck or predictable at this point? Names like Graterol, Kershaw, Glasnow, Buehler, Dustin May... All seriously injured the last four to five years. or have a seriously low body of work...
The only guys ever signed on your list are Glasnow and Kershaw. Glasnow’s been very healthy, he’s only missed one start all year. Kershaws breaking down, but we really have no choice but to sign him until he retires because he deserves to be on the team. Graterol’s been unfortunate, but he was a great piece we got in the Betts trade. May has been very disappointing with injuries, I wish we traded him at the deadline, although the esophagus tear has nothing to do with his other injuries he’s always dealt with. Buehler was always healthy before TJ and nobody expected him to go back on the IL that fast. We did get Mookie back tho and Muncy and Edman on on their rehab assignments. I think we’ll be just fine.
If they can start beating some of the good teams in the National League and the bullpen shows improvement they can still be a problem for anyone in the playoffs.
They havent looked that bad. With all the injuries happening and them getting some back, it allowed other players to step up and we were able to find players that we can use in the future. Even with all the injuries, still in first. I also believe the culture has changed with Ohtani being in the locker room. Im actually very hopeful about this season. Cant wait for the post season
You have a good broadcast voice man. I hope your channel grows.
Are you Hip Hop Autonomous or Hip Hop Anonymous? Lol thats always how I heard hippopotamus.
I'm not concerned anymore this team has been disappointing us for years now. They just decided to do it before the playoffs even start
But they have an insane team but the league still has really good teams and they have choked in the playoffs a lot so idk what’s gonna happen in the playoffs
Give them a break do you know how many injuries they have had and they can still win

Dodgers and October go together like lamb and tuna fush
🤣🤣🤣
That picture of the 3 of them on the hospital bed was so sweet!! That kid looked like the happiest kid in the world no matter where he was!!🤗🤗🤟🤟🙏🙏🙏🙏
Seems like rediculiously bad luck with injuries and nothing else is a major factor.

The pitching staff is highly suspect and inconsistent sorry no WS in LA
Your comment pretty much sums it all up. 👍🏻
After our last 3 games we are not concerned anymore and even more confident!
And yet.. even with all this, as of today they still are tied for the best record in MLB. Just sayin..

When Mookie, Muncy Edman and Yamamoto gets back
Be scared😈
most of them are set to return within the next two weeks too
Nobody is scared, YOU need to be scared
Dodgers are wasting ohtanis talent😂

i think its a dangerous situation. i was surprised the dodgers didnt make any major trades
They don’t deserve sympathy they spent 1 billion dollars and can’t win that’s their problem

Uh, wait until next year.
good video 👍
Dodgers cant hit and cant pitch.
Question is, did Shoehei bet on this?
