- 👋 In todays video we are working on a LED pod kit to install on my Toyota Tacoma! This is a very cool offroad accessory to be able to take the truck offroad at night and see what's around the tires for obstacles! Of course you can use these for truck shows or just for show in general and I think it's a cool addition! The installation wasn't that hard, but that will depend on what you are installing these on! For my Tacoma, since it's a longer vehicle we did have a slight modification to make, but extending wires isn't that hard to do. With this 8 pod kit, I decided to put one in each wheel well and then one in front of each tire to provide even more lighting! Running the wires to the central location is easy as well, you can find existing wires to follow or just follow the frame of the vehicle and zip tie as needed to keep the wires free from getting stuck to anything. With the installation complete, installing the app to control the lights is easy and from there you have the ability to change the color, change the pattern and a few more options! This is a neat kit to really light up your vehicle at night!

I always use wire loom, too centered over tires, need moved outboard more, hope u have skid plate, will get mashed
They are higher than the lowest point of the truck, so I'm not worried about them getting hit or anything like that!
It's only near end of January. You have more snow coming! That Tacoma is gonna be worth more than a Lexus Rx soon with all those upgrades! Awesome looking mod Mike!

Dang man those lights look buckwild! Not sure what would look more dope, the lights shining on the snow or the sand at the beach. I know you will get the side eye driving this truck now, lol.
I would say the snow lol! I might not drive around much with them on, but we'll see!

Got myself some Lux Lighting Monster version for me tacoma. What unique about them that they have strong neo magnets to mount them to metal so no drilling required but looks like rear have to drill a square metal plate to plastic fender so magnet light stay in place. That’s for the ideas how to mount them and wire them. Got a Auxbeam light control box so wiring them to box going to be easy on that parts.

Haven’t had any issues! Don’t use them a lot to be honest, but still work fine!
Have you installed running board lights ? I’m needing a video for DRL/turn signal ones
Never ended up doing that. Should be all too difficult tho

wouldnt it look better to just do 2 up front 2 in back and the other 4 in the center??? i feel like 4 up front made the lighting look off
Whatever you want to do, this is how I wanted to do it and what I think looked best, there’s no right or wrong way.
Do the lights kill your battery ??
One if you leave them on all the time. Never had issues with these connected
Hey man have you had any issues with the app? Is there another way to control the lights?
From what I remember the app isn’t the quickest, it took some time to get them to turn on and connect. That’s the only way to change everything.

Why the fuck would you not show how you connected to the battery thats literally the only part i needed to know
The red and black circles that I showed go to the positive and negative side of the battery. That’s the easiest step for this whole project..I extended them like I showed and they went to the battery..
You wasted my time watching this video the hole point of this was to see how you ran the wires to the battery

Not hard to run 2 wires to a battery bubba😂😂
