In this video, we show you the step-by-step installation process on a 2019 Toyota Tacoma. While most rock light installs are custom, our install process will be generally the same!
The Single-Color Stage Series Rock Light uses a simple 3-wire system, allowing you to select a low-power or high-power mode. At 3 watts of output, the low-power mode is actually on-par with the max output of most generic rock lights! This 3-wire setup also provides much more functionality on custom off-road builds.
With four high-intensity RGBW LED emitters, the Diode Dynamics Rock Light provides plenty of output in any color you can think of, paired with our RGBW remote or RGBW Bluetooth controller and app. The diffused optical feature of the lens provides excellent integration of colors. And unlike other multicolor lights, the extra white chip means that these will light up in a bright, pure white color when you want to maximize output. Want to show off? Use your controller to start a pattern, strobe, fade, or control the brightness. The best of both worlds!

If you are looking for ideas, one for the 370Z would be pretty awesome (with a plug and play harness option). The US cars have just a dummy plug that could be easily swapped with something like the hitch light (like on the overseas 370Z's). You would probably kill it. It's a pretty common upgrade, but not a lot of great options (wiring/quality).

Maybe I missed it but I didn’t see where you fit it into the cab or install a switch. Also, seriously, you were going to install a rock light on a skid plate?
Routing the switch into the cab is straightforward, through the firewall, and mounted to the location of your choice.
We mounted the rock light on the skid plate as an example of our magnet mount, you can mount the rock light wherever you see fit!
