    love watching your videos Graeme. Spent the last 30 odd years chasing trout, snapper, kingfish etc on the other side of the world but could be just as happy with a tin of maggots and catching roach etc as I did as a kid in England - have wandered around a few carp puddles in recent years on trips back to the UK but they do nothing for me . . . a nice slow moving river through the Uk countryside though . . . fantastic!.
    TAFishing . . . love it!.

    Its a real pleasure to watch a true sportsman fish. Especially with the catch and release method. I'm in the U.S.A. and I will try your method and see what I can come up with. Thank-you for the tips.

      Did you notice the care and attention to the fishes welfare that was shown on this video ? A lot of the american fishing videos i have seen the angler tends to just throw the fish back like they were not worth his time, just thrown back like you would throw out the rubbish.

    • @TAFishing

      ExtremeGamer Bait as I used may be better for those species.Only predatory fish will take a spinner so you cut your chances down on other species

    Can I ask as a beginner angler, why do you attach the line to the top of the float instead of just at the bottom?

    • @TAFishing
      @TAFishing  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is for floatfishing in a river as you have to "hold back" the float in the current so the bait precedes the float and hopefully the fish see the bait before the float.If it was attached bottom end only every time you tried to "hold back" it would pull the float under giving a false bite.

    I never knew Bruce Forsyth made fishing videos. LOL 😅😅😅😅 . LOVE the way all the bullshit about rods and reels was put in its place 😊 Dick Walker once said in the days of mostly float fishing and their tackle shop displays. ( 1960's.) " More floats catch anglers than they do fish." 👍

    Hi graeme l never see you plum the depth before you start to fish .

    • @TAFishing
      @TAFishing  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      barrie watson No,on the rivers I fish it's all up and down, so it only takes two or three runs through with different depths on the float to gauge the depth. Then I shallow up a few inches and hope it runs through a few inches off the river bed.I like my bait to go through near the bottom where I feel most fish are.

    I like ur VTs but I think ur way to heavy handed how you treat the fish, and spend to much time playing to the camera, im suprised u don't lose more fish when playing them.
