I already had a storyline in mind and I plan making a oneshot comic for my friends. This one is really helpful for a lot of artists and I really think you should make a series!
I heard one shots are a really good place to start if u want to make a manga or a comic. Hope u do well (Ik u made this a year ago but idc hope u still do well)

@@timmyplayz4230 idk why you commented this under my comment, but I've been drawing as a semi-serious hobby since 2019, and I only recently had the idea that it would be good practice to draw a manga/comic, and also a way to give life to my characters. Don't make blind assumptions about people. Also, wanting to draw manga is a pretty good motivator to start learning how to draw.
A series on this kinda stuff would be great, it would really help me with the comic I'm currently making. So is the next video in this series gonna be how to make fight scenes?

I have only been drawing using fineliners and I struggled a lot with what you mentioned. I will definetely look into one of the pens you mentioned.
You can also try digital art) I have heard that many manga artists use Clip Studio Paint.
* As for me, this is more convenient, because it simplifies the creation of manga.

@@joelroy9221This is a good question. I learned story production in Media class, and we were told to produce a story board. First we right out the intro, middle (plot) and ending. Then we’d break that down with technicals (camera shots and angles) then we’d draw the story board and reflect THAT, onto the actual work.
I learned a good few years ago, but I hope that helps you fundamentally! 😁

I’m trying to bring a series idea I have to life and I’ve been looking up ways to improve my art style, your tutorials help a lot, and this helps even more. Please I beg you do more creating manga tutorials because this is helping me a lot (also maybe I should get a story writer to help me out, I’m not that good at writing stories)

As kid I use to love reading Manga and drawing characters from them it was so much fun, that's what got me into drawing. I love this channel

Dude, I'm sure a lotta people ask these stuffs and frankly, we want your take on it. About Inking Manga pages, how to do so in a computer, HOW EXACTLY TO PUBLISH A MANGA (coz I'm damn sure It ain't be publishing in my parent's garage)
And most tedious of all, the line of motion stuffs while drawing dynamic figures, and possibly some battlefield drawing that occurs when a character is smashed on the floor from a kilometer above kinda stuffs

I have been thinking to make a manga and I think this video was almost perfect! I think you should try making a whole series for people like me…
I have a few questions though:-
Can we use microns instead of Maru pens?
Can we write dialogues in page itself and not on the computer and the same for shading?
You can certainly letter your pages traditionally if you want, and the same goes for shading; but I recommend researching how lettering actually works because the text style will make all the difference in how the reader interprets your scenes.
I hope this video does well so you can make more! Also A inking and manga charecter drawing tutorial will be really cool too!!

is there a specific photo copier you use? Is there a certain one that is specifically for digitalizing manga pages
i think with any decent scanner it will be good, i think the most important thing is the resolution, like he said in the video, the resolution needs to be 600, but in all honestly not all scanners have the same quality so you could always buy one that is considered great but it will be expensive so that's why i think, having a decent one and scanning at 600 dpi is also a good option
I'm glad people are still drawing manga traditionally, it seems like with the digital industry growing up and the webcomics getting popular a lot of people draw more digitally now. Even some shonen jump manga artist like the author of mha use digital stuff so whenever i see people still drawing traditionally, it makes me happy somehow
