These guys shine in every corner.
The vocals are mind boggling, so clean with the runs and range to the moon.
    Henrik on bass... WORLD CLASS,
no doubt. His speed, arrangement and precision are just impeccable,
all the while keeping a big grin on his face. Henrik obviously having more fun than what is legal.
The drumming is sooo perfect, from the opening, through all the tempo changes, there’s a TIGHT pocket.
There is nothing but immaculate, timely and punching breaks, that fit
    seamlessly in the mix.
    WOW, mind sufficiently BLOWN.

Even if all their newer song are all fantastic, you need to listen to the vocals in the end of an old track called "Hit Me". The run he is doing in the end is the most impresive i've ever heard!

This was so cool to watch! 😂 I kept on laughing with you, these guys are way too amazing.

  • @danielolson5378

These guys met at a music school in Stockholm, Sweden. Jonah's (piano, vocals) major was classical while Henrik's (bass) and Aron (drums) jazz/improvisation. They began rearranging contemporary and songs from the '80s and uploaded it to TH-cam. Needless to say it went super viral and more or less caught everyone's attention from Quincy Jones to David Foster! The latter one kinda took them under his wings as his protégés. Nowadays they belong to Quincy Jones productions. They are not from this world!!

Hi Ken, thanks for getting into this and giving this crazy Swedish trio the attention they deserve.
Some interesting comments there too at the end 🙏
One thing: all the vocal tracks on this recording were sung by Jonah, despite appearances :)
I really have to listen to this track with eyes closed, to fully appreciate all the different colours, harmonies and characters of his vocal and choral lines; and his harmonies at the end, during the credits…
So, so many other great tracks by Jonah and by Dirty Loops, -but he’s now also released a solo album called “Now or Never”. You might want to check that out :)
Then there are the interviews with him on Stratele Studio’s TH-cam channel, definitely worth checking out 👍

Wow! That was one fabulously fun reaction video to watch. Great genuine reactions, good commentary and the proper amount of whoa factor from anyone experiencing the Loops for the first time. You've more than earned my subscription and please react to more "Dirty Loops". A lot of their early stuff are covers with insane takes on the originals. I noticed someone below recommended "Work Shit Out". It is a great song but to me it is one of the lightest on vocals featuring instead incredible instrumental solos. It's eight years old but I'd recommend "Rolling In The Deep (Adele Cover)" as a great display of Jonah's vocal ability. You'll never hear this song the same way again.

I love that they have that nice soothing end bit (the part playing during the credits of the mv) bc you really do need a breather after all that insane buildup and chord progressions 💀💀💀 “Where are we going??” is the exact mood hahaha

In terms of strong vocalists, you might want to consider Glenn Hughes. He is well known to rock fans from his time with Trapeze, Deep Purple, Black Country Communion as well as his own solo career and various side projects. He is also a wicked bassist and also plays guitar, though on this he plays keys while his band takes a break (that band was members of Swedish group Europe). There is plenty of Glenn on TH-cam. He recently joined the Dead Daisies, replacing the seriously good bassist/singer Marco Mendoza. th-cam.com/video/zuGGJZ8ShKM/w-d-xo.html
