I don't understand some of these articles, because I just ordered a 2023 Dodge Challenger Hellcat from a big Dodge dealer ,at cost, sticker window price. But maybe it's not a confirmed order, but it says it is in the order sheet! I'm confused
A quick question. There are some people saying that you can only get a Jailbreak on a Standard Hellcat 717hp. Not available on the Redeye? Does anyone have a VIN for a 2023 Redeye Jailbreak or another way to to prove this wrong? As there is no order info on the Dodge website for '23 models, it is hard to confirm what can and what can't be ordered.
According to what I know, the Jailbreak was added as an option this year to the standard 717hp Hellcat, but was always offered before on the Redeye and that will continue. Maybe those people are getting confused as Dodge was marketing that it was offered on the standard Hellcat which they never had offered before. 2023 models seem to be very delayed and same with the ordering process as it hasn’t even opened online. Looks like everything will be delayed but Dodge says production remains open through late 2023 and possibly into 2024 so they will probably fulfill as many orders as possible for this last model year, just later than usual.
I have a new challenger and love to hear that rumble when that V8 kicks in! It's a shaker and a head turner. Glad that I got one, put an order for HellCat, let's see how that goes.
I tried hard to locate a 2022 Challenger RT using the Dodge inventory search tool, but I could never find the perfect match build within 200 miles of my zip code. I did look at an Octane Red 2022 Challenger RT 90 miles away but was disappointed to find clearcoat swirls already on the paint exterior. This may have been due to careless washing of the car or the result of a rotating car wash brush at a dealership. Hence, I just decided to order from the factory my 2023 Triple Nickel Challenger RT Plus. The dealer was instructed not to wash the car after unloading it from the tractor-trailer. Fortunately, my local Dodge dealer has no car wash. I had rented a White Knuckle 2022 Challenger RT from Enterprise and knew this was a great car to own. I had to show my wife that the Challenger would fit inside the garage!
That’s one heck of a lineup of cars but unfortunately the last for the Hemi engines. I really hope these new Stellantis engines will perform as well as the proposed numbers indicate they should. I don’t think Dodge will be able to duplicate the Hemi exhaust sound from the inline 6 though. I guess time will tell.
I'm not sure if it's a problem for me because I'm in Canada, but any Dodge dealer around me (even ones in Brampton where the car is manufactured) only have SXT/GT/RT models available to order. I wonder who was pressuring them to get away from the gas guzzling V8's? I would imagine it ain't the people who are buying them at high levels?? Why don't those same people go after McDonald's..
It's sad that this era is coming to a close, but I have a feeling the next gen Charger will have the i6 available soon after launch of the EV version. And while I'm a V8 guy thru and thru, i6's with 500hp and torque will make me plenty happy. Especially since there's no way I'd drive a Mustang.
Dodge ditching V-8s for all electric is a mistake. It's akin to all the movie franchises pandering to people with woke content. They are not giving their customers what they want. Nothing lasts forever and neither will Dodge, but once every car is an all-electric missile, what will be Dodge's niche in the marketplace? Better to go down being what you are.
I think once the Challenger is gone, Dodge should come up with something COMPLETLEY new.....make new history with a brand-new muscle car name and car.....I think it is time to let go of the past and make NEW history....But that's just me.
I'd like to see a 'Cuda redux.....maybe the new Hurricane motor would be sufficient. Supposedly already more HP than a HEMI. Loved that car back in the '70s
I agree to an extent. But NONE of the "new" bodylines equate to a Cuda or Challenger. That said - I understand to want / need to move forward from an antiquated body style, but the old farts like me are still enamored. Context - an Ann- Margret vs one of these post - 1990 women? No comparison.
EV is trash. The Chally is the last of the pony cars. The only one that kept its awesome look. Camaros and Mustangs look like so many other jacks of shit.

Comprehensive video but must of this is old news
So many options, great color selections, although too bad Hellrasin got deleted. Won't be able to afford any of them in the R/T trim, or higher. V6 Challenger's not my thing. However, the AWD V6 Challenger might work, but only if I could supercharge it. ;^)
I have a V6 AWD challenger and it's amazing. I have a 23 hellcat shipped (unfortunately just learned it has fucking scat pack wheels on it.... not the HC2s. They still don't have normal body builders....) but am looking to keep my SXT as well. They are amazing daily drivers. Quick enough but lots of traction. Corners much better than a hellcat lol ^_^;
Why change a good thing?
top dodge!
You gotta be crazy to spend all that money on a little car. I would rather drive a big v8 suv for that money
It is not smart to have 10 cars of the same brand challenger with different styles but look the same
I wonder who was pressuring them to get away from the gas guzzling V8's? I would imagine it ain't the people who are buying them at high levels?? Why don't those same people go after McDonald's..
weren’t they not even supposed to make a 2023😂
It's sad that this era is coming to a close, but I have a feeling the next gen Charger will have the i6 available soon after launch of the EV version. And while I'm a V8 guy thru and thru, i6's with 500hp and torque will make me plenty happy. Especially since there's no way I'd drive a Mustang.
They should leave the options for the people. Not removed beloved cars.. Not everyone wants electric
@@alisonlucia2789 you could always buy a used vehicle.
Unless you prefer a manual then that sucks for dodge fans.
I think I won't get it cuz they cost so much
Great video as always. I'm not happy about the cancellation, but I'm looking forward to what Dodge can do with EVs.
PROFESSIONAL DRIVER ON CLOSED COURSE. DO NOT ATTEMP:
THAS NOT WHAT WE SEE ON TH-cam
They should have changed that shitty shift knob
Dodge hates money
No more Hellcats
My scat pack gives me an average of 9mpg.
Getting really tired of the same looking 10 year plus challenger!
I hope they're full of BS and they'll give them old af chassis another new lease on life with a Hybrid-V8 Hemi combo or something
Too many packages and totally unecessary.
As always another great informative video. Sad to see the Challenger go. I will be keeping my 2010 RT forever.
Dodge going EV RIP,😂
This 2023 dodge challenger is some bullshit sad day for dodge
Unfortunately no one cares now. Dodge is dead.
😢
EV is trash. The Chally is the last of the pony cars. The only one that kept its awesome look. Camaros and Mustangs look like so many other jacks of shit.
Nothing is new. True story.
All you people whining about electric vehicles bc you wont be able to make your car vroom vroom any more are so childish LMAO
Thanks for share!! 😎 😎 😎 😎
