What was your motor doing that made you start the teardown?

Spark plug Tip/ground broke off. When it broke it chipped the top of the piston and tore up the cylinder walls. Ended up with a new motor due to the complexity/cost of repair..

@@tunerstrouble772 Ouch... Oh yeah, smart choice. Good video. I have a issue with a 07 600 where once I poor coolant in, it instantly gets into the crankcase. Static bike, cold motor. Theres no smoking from exhaust, and the bike still rides fine. I think a freeze plug may have popped. Unfortunately Suzuki sells them as a new head for $1400😭😭. I kinda want it to be a popped out freeze plug, which 3 of the 4 are visible with just the removal of the valve cover (1 is under the cams), so that I can press it back in and reseal, but a part of me wants it to be the head gasket, which is $80 and a sure fix. But the way and speed of which the coolant reaches the crankcase, it's probably a freeze plug. Any, thanks again for the good video 👍🏾👍🏾

Best of luck to you! I now with these motors their heads are weird. Rather than like a traditional motor (where you can take the head off and separate it from the bottom block ) these heads are part of the entire upper half of the motor, meaning you have to pull the tranny gears and everything apart just to replace the cylinders. Hopefully it’s something simple, but if it ends up being a bigger issue with the head/cylinder wall I personally paid $1500 for a used motor with 15k miles on it. I got it from a reputable salvage shop in az and I’ve had zero issues with the motor and I’ve rode it like I stole it.
