Bravo!! After watching three videos before this one and calling Keurig three time customer service, you're the only one that knew how to remove that descale light. I did put vinegar. I did clean it 100 million times and still that light was on. If it weren't for you and this video that you posted, I would have gone crazy. I've been doing this from 9:00 in the morning and right now it's 5:00 p.m. And if it weren't for you, I would have not known a thing. Thank you so much for helping us. God bless you

It even got to the point where the 8 finally went out but after putting water in and opening it came right back on. I’m fuming mad.

thank you so much. We only use distilled water, so the descaling process isn’t much, but we couldn’t figure out how to get the light off after using the descaler liquid.

We use it for about three people everyday in the morning. The taste and quick brew is one of the reasons we like it so much. There are so many choices of brands of coffee that we would grab what was on sale and test the different brands from there. I would definitely recommend trying different brands of coffee to find the ones you like the most because there are brands that quite frankly taste horrible.

If you can't afford the descale liquid or you're just cheap like me put 2 cups of distilled white vinegar into the tank then fill with water and run it like that until the descale light goes off. Ask your local plumber how to descale your instant hot water heater and they will tell you to use distilled white vinegar and water to do that also. I hope this helps.
Nice to know how to set up the descaling mode BUT you need to run a descaler through the machine--vinegar or Keurig's solution. I would also let the solution sit for at least 15 minutes to soften the deposits inside the machine. Plain water will NoT clean it.
Thanks for your video. After completing the descaling cycle using both solution and vinegar, the unit turns off. When I push the power button all lights will flash for a second then turn off again. The only way to get the unit working is to repeat the descaling process from the beginning. Any chance you know of another trick?
I wish the Keurig would give us a warning a few uses BEFORE the descaling light pops on! That way I don’t go without caffeine like I am RIGHT NOW AHHHHH
@@crifix. It’s strange. It isn’t working. I press and hold the 6 and 10 oz buttons, then the 8 and Descale lights flash. I press the 8 oz button, then the machine sounds like it’s trying but after 15 seconds or so, all three 6, 8, and 10 oz lights flash then all the lights turn off at once and the machine stops trying to descale. No coffee for me today I guess! Argggg

You should check the water probe. But probably is cheaper to buy a new machine

The light should go off. If not try to run a descaling cycle again. Maybe just with water

@SpaceDoggy777 try to put vinagre in the water to help the process. Probably your valve is clogged badly
