I didn’t realize he wasn’t pulling the focus when filming. I was definitely disappointed when I saw the footage but we put a lot of effort into it and couldn’t film again so I published the video anyways. Hope it’s enjoyable beyond that.
These are just gorgeous! I think a lot of people forget that cardboard and paper are made from wood and multiple layers become very hard and durable. The Victorians had paper-mache furniture and some had 100 layers and then varnished in laquer. I always wanted to do one from cardboard and these are just beautiful!

Wow! I just bumbled my way to this video because I was looking up DIY videos on how to turn a big ole` plastic dollhouse into an awesome Halloween haunted dollhouse for my daughter who outgrew playing with the pink little girl house. But Wow! Dang Stan!! You went blew the roof off of anyone else's dollhouses with ALL that detail! This guy is SO dang good! I'm not a collector or creator of dollhouse's or miniatures but even I can see the amount of time and dedication he has put into these houses. Seeing the joy & passion you both have for this form of artistry was an inspiration for me to watch! Thank you for taking us on the journey! Stan you are truly a one of a kind talent and should be quite proud of yourself for making your dollhouses more accessible to a wider audience for bearing in mind that most "regular" folks cannot afford to purchase dollhouses for their kids unless they are the prebuilt plastic ones.
*** Side note~ I was one of those kids growing up that always wanted a dollhouse and my family couldn't afford it. BUT~ our local public library had a big wooden one on display inside a plexiglass case. It had the mom, dad, grandparent's, kids, and a dog. Each room was perfect. I seriously would spend so much time gazing at this dollhouse lost in my imagination walking around it with my eyes going from room to room. Such fond memories! The idea of you making that experience possible to more kiddo's just makes my heart happy! Kudo's to you!!!!

All I have to say is WOW! Rachel, you really have out done yourself! All three of us were watching this video and enjoying it on our big screen! Yes, my husband even watched with us and enjoyed too! Stan has inspired us to want to make our own miniature doll house! Rachel, you could be a cosplay makeup artist for sure! You had Mya fooled! She said, “Mommy is that Rachel?” Outstanding job on the whole look! We both absolutely love it!☠️❤️ Stan’s costume was spot on as well! I am beyond amazed! I love these houses so much! I'm currently working on a Victorian witch's mansion, I started with a kit but plan to also add rooms onto it. Your houses are so inspiring! This is such a fun, rewarding hobby, isn't it?

Not sure, I don't think he does a specific scale but I would say it's 1:12 if he had to choose a specific scale.

So impressive and incredible use of talent and imagination!! Absolutely 1000 percent TOP NOTCH!! My only disappointment was the interruption with the telephone ringing in the background, and the focus feature in the video. The blurriness not only made it difficult to see the interiors, but hard to follow along with Stan’s creative expression. Thank you for sharing your art with us Stan!! 😊
It was nice to of you to say compliments about the video. Regarding your critique: we are operating a business that funds our TH-cam channel, and we did film this during our working hours. I asked my staff to pick up the phones immediately when they rang, but a couple of times, it did ring more than once when they were on another line. The camera is a $3,500 camera, and in hindsight, we should have used something different like an iPhone that focused faster but didn’t realize this until we were done filming. We opted to publish the video anyway because we worked very hard on it.

Believe it or not, this is a $3,500.00 camera but I will be using my iphone in the future for miniature videos because it doesn't have to take all the time to focus like our fancy camera did. It was a bummer.

Yes, to say I was disappointed after we shot the footage (and Stan left so we couldn’t redo it) is an understatement.
