I just got the plans today and am mostly through the cut list. Was kinda a last minute decision so I was short a piece of plywood. Getting the last sheet tomorrow and will hopefully have it done this week. Can't wait !!
Intense segment, PatriotDIY. I shattered that thumbs up marker on your upload. Always keep the superior work. Can't wait to see your next video from you.
Love this idea. IMO better than all the copycat flipcart plans out there. I know materials depend on where you are but approximately how much should I expect to spend for this project?
Fantastic build and video. I like the very slightly slower editing pace. Just a little more relaxing. Upcoming video possibility of a shop buddy project? Candy dispenser/birdhouse/dinosaur bank kind of project maybe.
Haha yeah that's a tough one!! A alternative would be to just mount the power strip on the side of the cart and just plug and unplug every time you flip it
🔥🔨 BUILD PLANS: etsy.me/3CNV0ry **UPDATE** After Filming I developed my own Flip/Stop design, so when you purchase the plan you will be getting a full PatriotDIY design that is slightly different than the video!!
Any way we can get a notification when the plans become available? I have a Wen tabletop drill press and, for an off brand, it definitely does the job.

@@PatriotDIY Nicely built. My only question/concern with this design is, Are you planning on kneeling down while using the jointer? if you have a lot of joinery work to perform, your back will be pretty sore by the end.
My shop is not only for woodworking the rest of the shop has to be used for other things. I can't just have machines all over the place. I really only have an area about 15x25 with only 2 walls.

Great video. Ty for the end showing the finished project and functions.
I wish I had more room because this cart would be very convenient, great build and video 👍🏽
Yeah one of my next project will be a new work bench that this cart will roll under. Thats the only way I can make space for it

You should leave the link to the full video in your reel's top comment, this was HARD to find. Thanks for the awesome idea!
It's in the reel description....
Looks good.
Well done.

That is amazing 😻
Purchased your plans and they're great, but you definitely lost me at cutting power cable on my new jointer.

Any reason you built the jointer so low? Could you build it same height as the planet and add another drawer?
So it will fit under my workbench with the planer flipped down

If you subscribe and press notification bell I'll post it as soon as it's available and you should get notified. Should be in the next week.

Do you have an idea when the plans will be available?

the jointer seems too low to use conformably, is there a reason its so low?
So it's the same height as the the flip top. This is designed to fit UNDER a workbench when not in use.

"I don't know where to put these tools" says the guy is a gigantic open workshop... Also, how is your back after planing stuff that low?
