Hi Ben, "real time" Hurray! Not a cactus fan, but I just might follow this one because it's blooming. Ha, ha. And, "THANK YOU for the photo. Yay! Just what I need to try to do it myself.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!
by the way, I see that your palette is always a ceramic plate. I tried that and the paint DRIED up on me and it took acetone to remove it all. YIKES! How do you do it?

Hi and thanks for watching! Yes the more expensive acrylics can be a little stubborn to remove when they dry. If they are really hard I just leave the plate in hot water for a while and it'll soften over time or over night. Then they usually just skim off. Try to squeeze out as little as possible then you're not wasting too much paint. Hope this helps.

@@BenHeffernanArt Hi Ben, that's helpful. Thank you. Still, I have learned about wet palette and I prefer that because my acrylics do not dry on my palette whilst I am using them. I use a container with a lid, then some wet paper towels and wax paper on top of the wet paper towels to put my paints on (it's not most environmental, but then my paints don't dry). One thing I found out is that when using a super tight plastic container, the paints do not dry, but they become very liquid by absorbing the water, i.e., very transluscent.... YIKES!
