You've done something wrong as a mother, partner, and person when you say, "It's his 3rd time in prison since our child was born, but family is family." Umm, NO.

Agree, EVERYONE makes mistakes! But when you CONTINUE & CONSTANTLY make the same ones it’s NO longer a mistake it becomes HABITUAL. I thought you’re supposed to THINK about what you’ve done and NOT to make the same choices that put you in there in the first place. I just hope some of these women realize that and PUT THEIR CHILDREN FIRST!!

At least they could stop having kids if they wanted to stay in this relationship. It’s not fair to bring more kids into this situation, I have to agree with you on that.

No. Esp remain faithful? No. But there are women who remain faithful to pen pals from prison. Like someone they never met on the outside, but just became a pen pal of. They will put money on their books, visit, and be faithful to someone who has murdered people. There is a strange obsession some women have over serial killers, esp.

This is probably going to sound very simple and shallow but if the men keep going in and out of prison, why keep having kids with them?! If it hurt you before kids then why would you voluntarily inflict that on a child. It just makes no sense to me.

No sympathy here…they chose to live this way, they sure weren’t forced to. Sticking with their significant other in prison one time, I maybe could understand. Four times, no way. Females aren’t forced to stay to survive anymore, we have tons of options today for us and our babies.

FINALLY. This is the first time I’ve ever seen anything about this situation. I was one and I was so upset about nobody providing information for “ Prisoners Wives”. Yes it’s ridiculous how strict the prison guards are about the rules to visit a prisoner. 😢It’s true folks . 😢 ** I had 2 teenagers to continue parenting while on Welfare . Thank God for my parents for helping us in every way.❤ Then I got a housing voucher. It was horrible compared to the life we had. I stuck it out for 13 years. I should have moved on in retrospect.😢 He’s not the same at all. It’s getting a little better every day, but, it’s still hard . I pray for all prisoners wives.🙏♥️ ** Advice, MOVE ON ! Sorry for going on but, I had my kiddos in therapy. Medicaid (state government insurance) paid for it. I made them go. I would say , “ You’re going, I don’t care if you just sit there for an hour, you’re going “. Of course they ended up loving it, and their counselors.

I'm not judging you. Please get your son some counseling. He's only 8 and doesn't really understand it all. Boys have more trouble expressing themselves, he needs someone to vent too. It only gets harder to counteract the aggressive issues as he gets older. My 34 year old son struggles with anger issues, I wish I had done more when he was little.

anyone who stays married to a man in prison suffers from low self esteem. she and her children deserve more in life.. they deserve a better dad and a better husband.
any woman who says her husband sold drugs to provide a better life for them is an idiot. selling drugs wasnt just illegal it was dangerous to her and her family. surely he could have gotten 2 part time or even 2 full time jobs. i didnt start out at the top i worked my way up with low paying jobs until i finally had a good job that paid well.
it made me wonder how many of them are married to abusive men and think that being beaten or even raped is the norm. after all if being in prison is the norm what else is?
being in prison is a form of abuse.

Well you sure aren’t being a good role model for your 13 yr old daughter now are you? You don’t want her to end up with someone who is in and out of prison you claim. Yet you are showing her that it is acceptable for her to put up with. Do these people even hear themselves?
