And with the guitars it's more noticeable since the X3 guitars have a very unique sound compared to X1 and X2 !

6 years late but this is easily my favorite version of this song with the Rivals of Aether version in second. You should give that medley a listen if you haven't.

I really love how you worked with the MMX samples. Somehow, you managed to change the aquatic atmosphere of the song, for a more universal one. Pretty much like Strike The Earth, and atleast for my taste, it's excellent. Keep up the good work!

Most of the times I used midis but there are no shovel knight midis available so this one was from scratch
a wonderful job remixing my favorite song from my favorite stage of one of my favorite games with the musical style of another one of my favorite games.....yes I'm the nut who loves water levels, sue me they always have nice music. now to put this on repeat for hours on end and life will be goooooood.

this remix sounds really great you made me think of buying this game (I was busy this summer and wasn't been able to play that much video games), I know though the game is great but I wasn't thinking on buying it but now I might download it on my 3DS so I can play wherever I am and when I have time for it

You do an excellent job of retaining the quality of the synth engines you're using in your remixes also! Keep pumping em out man! :)
This is awesome! Shovel Knight is definitely one of my favorite games of all time with one of the best soundtracks too. Add that to Megaman X style which is another one of my favorite soundtracks and you've got one kick-ass remix to an already amazing track. Better than the original. Nice job!

Great stuff! I thought the original felt a bit slow compared to the other stages. That tempo increase is perfect. I bet Plains of Passage would sound fantastic in X-style.

Oh well. Have one now. All of your mixes are works of art. The only one I feel like I want to request from the Shovel Knight soundtrack are the Tower of Fate Stage 1, Tower of Fate Stage 3 (Sorceress Approach, I love the build up), and the Betrayer, The final boss music. I've yet to hear a good remix of that one and I am confident you have the skill to pull it off.

Seems to me Sir (MyNewSoundtrack) that a lot of your influence for remixes and compositions and game music and general came from Megaman X. Don't know if this is true or not but, I must say MMX was the first game soundtrack I feel in love with.
MMX is actually my favorite game EVER. But it's incredible considering I discovered it only when I was 12 (2006) which isn't so long ago. it's the only game I know where I love ever ... single ... song.

So yeah, I listen a lot to the soundtrack and maybe that influences a lot my style. Even my 8-bit remixes are like MMX music now that I think about it xD

Well that was fast and kind of funny because I just beat the game today! xD Random tidbit, my favorite song from the game is The Fateful Return (Tower Entrance). Actually now that I brought it up, believe it or not this is 1 in only 3 games where I loved the entire Soundtrack (that's right 3), 1: Mega Man, X 2: Golden Sun 1 and 2 (I count those as 1), and 3 Shovel Knight! :D
