For Flame Mammoth this time I took a few elements from my previous remix, one from 2012-2013.
I'm really happy with how this one turned out, the extra tiny details really make this track shine and feel a bit more dynamic. It was a really hard task since the original is really short.

If all of these No Console Limitations remixes were inserted into Mega Man X in some form or another.... Honestly, I'd probably have to teach myself to take my time through the stages just so I could appreciate each fantastic tune.

@@MrHatoi idk if anyone has ever made a patch for a psp game. msu-1 is a homebrew expansion chip for the snes that allows cd quality audio tracks and fmv like the sega cd did for the genesis. there are already rom hacks for classic 7 and x1 that use alternate soundtracks. I've never made one, but I think it's as simple as converting all the tracks to the correct format and using a program to edit the rom to use the new tracks instead of the internal spc files.

@@TheSonicfan91 No, what he has on his arm is the trigger for the gun, aside from that, I'm kinda glad that capsule wasn't made so it was even a tiny bit more infuriating because if it had I'm pretty sure I would have thrown myself out the window of the seven story building I used to live in when I was seven

As an 80's kid, I really loved that you added Fire-Man's theme at 2:41/2:52.That really gave it a nostalgic feel to it.

I'll always love the Mega Man covers! All the original stuff from 3:04 to the end makes me wish for a MNS-inspired Mega Man original album. Like, make up your own bosses and theme songs you'd think they have! Or I can just keep dreaming. Nonetheless, rock on! \m/
The fact that Flame Mammoth's theme doesn't get as much love as it could never ceases to fill me with pain. That being said, this is wonderful and I can't describe how glad I am that you made it.

This track is to die for! Flame Mammoth's stage theme was never my favourite, but I think you've really batted it out of the park here!

Awesome remix man! You may not remember me but I commented on your "Cornered!" Mega Man X Remix a long time ago and you gave me some nice words of encouragement. That was probably 4 or so years ago. I still remember it. Now I'm in college and facing lots of crazy stuff. Today I found out that a teacher that I really looked up to passed away on Monday due to a heart attack. I never had a class with him but he was very kind and I could feel the love he had for life and his beliefs in the few chances I got to talk to him. I miss him tons. Switching topics I remember listening to the 2013 remix you made for this song too (that may have been the one with the guitar). It was super good and helped me out on another hard day. :)

In happier news my best friend's birthday was today and I got to wish him a happy birthday and sing the happy birthday song to him over the phone. It was a great experience. Life truly is *so* precious. To say that your remixes have helped me to keep dreaming, believing in myself, and trying to making a difference for those who are in my life is no exaggeration. It's crazy to think that was a year ago. So much has happened since then. I lost another good friend just this past December actually. Motorcycle accident. The crazy thing was I thought I knew him so well, but it turned out I grossly underestimated his influence and kind heart.
When I was at his funeral I had such a clearer idea of how good a person he really was. I heard story after story of how he did so much so others could feel loved and appreciated. It was quite an inspiring celebration of his life, and I'll never forget it. The last few weeks have been a struggle for me.
There was one time in particular though when thinking of my friend and seeing his picture helped me keep trying.
Long story short these losses have helped me treasure the friendships I have, and also my own life. I am still in college and trying to make the most of my life and help others. :)
It sounds a bit odd to share all of that, but I thought it would be helpful. Time with friends and family truly is so precious.Thank you again for your kind comment! I wish the best for you too brother! If you'd ever like to play a game together or something let me know. I play mostly Switch and Steam nowadays. There's always room in my heart for one more friend. If not no worries. I'll always remember your comment as a blessing. :)

Yep things are going very good for me right now. You know what they say, when one door shuts, another opens.
About a month ago I had an interview for a promising internship that could turn into a job after college... and yeah I got ghosted. I followed up with them but no response. They never told me if I got the internship but yeah because that happened there is potential for me to do something I love part-time and remotely for another organization. Even still, that opportunity may not work out either. In either case though yeah I'm trying to make the most of everything that's going on.
I believe that good things come to those who wait patiently and keep the end goal in mind. I try to view all of my current struggles as just temporary experiences that can bring long-lasting lessons to hold on to and cherish.
There are so many people struggling far worse than I am, but I'm thankful that my heart has grown so I can be a blessing in their lives and empathize more genuinely with what they are going through. In general for me reaching out to others when I'm having a rough time yourself is just a deep and humbling experience. Very eye-opening and I'm glad I'm in the habit of trying to do that.
Thank you! Yes I love using technology to help people feel heard and appreciated. There's always so much good we can all do for one another. Thank you for taking a few minutes to reach out to me. I am thankful for it. I hope that things are going good for you as well. Even though we may be on opposite sides of the globe, in this moment it is as if we are at a crossroads and we get to wave and encourage one another just a tiny bit. Even the smallest bit can help a lot.

Man... I want some more Megaman X Songs... They are soooooo good.
Flame Mammoth doesn't really get much love compared to the rest of the MMX Mavericks, and his theme tends to get overshadowed quite a lot in the remix department it seems... However, this rendition is great!! I'd say the shorter length of the song makes room for a ton of amazing variations to the main melody. I'm especially fond of the sections where you held the beat for a while, really keep the track pumped up for the rest of the song! The small guitar "solos" (?) were really well done and fit smoothly into the melody. Amazing job as usual!! I'm always glad to see a new remix from you in my sub box :)

EDIT : I'd also like to see more stuff like this if I can be so honest. Little "quality of life" sort of things like this where original tracks get pushed to where they could have gone had there been no such things as console limitations.

The reason for that, is because where Armored Armage/Armadillo is my favorite in terms of musical stage theme, Flame Mammoth is and will always be the one I enjoy the least. 0:44 As usual, you absolutely _nail_ the tune's refrain, adding sounds in the background to properly make the main melody shine as much as it should. A pleasure to the ears!
1:13 These riffs... AAAAAAAAAAH, _THESE RIFFS._ That entire section, up until 1:33 gives me a serious River City Ransom vibe, one of my favorite remixes from your channel!

This is my new favorite Flame Mammoth version. It was my favorite song in the game (not the most common of opinions, I know), and I love how this tries to emulate the original instruments but without the slightly tinny sound of the SNES, and then use that as a base to expand on it.
