First flight into and out of Cardiff on Monday July 30th 2013. Thanks to all at the Cambrian Restaurant and Bar for the balcony view, breakfast and lunch.
Ideal conditions to see this important event Mike.....she looked very elegant on the landing and take off....shame about the unavoidable chatter....but excellent work never the less.....Bob
Thanks Bob. The other problem was it was by ticket only at the club, so I was lucky to get in. Also the Cowbridge Gem wanted photos too. At least they put mine on their front page.
They're trying all the airports, for landing/takeoff, in case of future emergencies. You'll note both are quite short and quiet too. Also the BAMC is next door to the airport, that's the large building on the left where British Airways aircraft are serviced. I was there last month for thier 20 yr celebration ( staff only but they wanted me to take some photos for the local Gem newspaper )....being retired has it's benefits............TTFN Mike

great video mike that must of been amazing to see that coming into Cardiff was that a normal flight or just a trial?
