As a supra owner, the biggest thing games leave out is the sound of a screamer pipe
Because not every single turbo builds have screamer pipe ;) I also have a screamer pipe on mine and yes I do miss the sounds in video games
It also helps when the real car is revving 2k more rpm than in game.
GT7 Has it on the fully built stage 5 Supra, can hear it in hood view and on replays, I’ll take a video of it on my channel and show you
Personally I'm not a fan of the open gate sound on a street car, but it would be nice to have the option
See that’s the problem the real life car is clearly not stock and has way more horsepower what you’re saying would have to be a option as a mod in game

Definitely the only reason I'm buying it. It's like force feedback for sound. You can hear the tension in the pedal.

@@Evokyr Rev limiters of all the cars in this game come from a lada, every single shift in this game is unrealistic, not even coming close to being almost close.
I used to love NFS. This level of attention to detail and quality was present in the 90s games. Since then, I have been absolutely pissed at EA for letting the game lose it's edge. But finally, a worthy successor comes along....24 years later.
Crew Motorfest is killing it. The subtle movements of the car, the gear shifts, the engine and backfire sounds, the cockpit view...the game is as good as you can possibly expect an arcade racer to be. It combines all the best things of a simulation game, with the accessability of an arcade game.
Pure perfection. Just buy it.

0:13 Pretty accurate. Rev limiter is too low in TCM for a modified Supra. Sounds like about 6500rpm, whereas the real life recording sounds closer to 8500rpm.
1:54 Very accurate. Rev limiter is too high in TCM. Sounds like about 9000rpm, whereas the real life recording sounds closer to 8000rpm. I’ll give the benefit of the doubt and assume that Vulcans have user-adjustable rev limiters. Most race cars have them, so why would the Vulcan not have one? The way the rev limiter behaves is also drastically different.
3:44 Extremely accurate, but it sounds more like a regular 488 than a Pista.
5:56 Not very accurate. TCM's sound is too high-strung, almost like it has equal length headers. The real life sound has a deeper sound to it characteristic of unequal headers.
7:58 Pretty accurate. Sounds a little too buzzy in TCM.
9:44 Extremely accurate.
10:54 Very accurate.
12:27 Pretty accurate.
Yea most of the cars sounds are extremely accurate the problem is the real life cars are not stock and probably have way more horsepower than the game who knows what all those cars have in mods
On 6:34 it sounded more accurate from this angle it could be the angle as well
It’s actually more like every single one is inaccurate as fuck. The Vulcan revs way to high, the EB110 sounds absolutely terrible, and the 488 sounds more like a 458 just with a turbo sound.

they did they best they could with the equipment they got, but maybe for some cars they had to edit the audio a bit

I cant believe how good the sounds are in this game. They nailed it. Even better than Forza Horizon 5. Racing and driving game developers, take notes ;)
I see major potential in this game I’ve been playing it and having fun just off the driving around yes details and sounds matter and there some cars tht sounds a bit off or some pitches in the engine isn’t correct but the game just came out and people are too quick to say “it’s terrible, it’s bad , forza better” obviously day 1 isn’t going to be up to par give them a chance it has potential
I honestly don’t know what type of crack people be on for them to expect a game to be perfect day 1 but they need to lay off of it and as far as this game goes this is the most fun I’ve had in a racing game in a long time
Which is what I find funny cause 90% of the cars in Forza Horizon 5 don't even sound right. They got "Generic V8 Preset", "Generic Inline 5 Preset", etc.
Well it's Ubisoft and they have just about the worst reputation in the gaming world. Forza is a far superior franchise, they just need to quit cutting corners with the engine sounds and reusing them.
@@SerPurple51 You can't really compare an arcade racer (The crew) with a simcade (Forza Horizon). Not to mention there's fuck all to do in Forza Horizon after a while

finally someone actually did a pretty good 2j sound. i feel like most games just start with the r34 then take the sound of the rb and just change it slightly

V12 sounds are still off and many cars sound synthetic IMO but the game is a big step up audio wise vs The Crew 2. Supra and R8 both sound terrific

Bro that 488 pista got a Capristo exhaust or maybe a stock 488 pista come from the factory with a soft limiter ? I’m confused
The biggest flaw with a lot of them is how clean the cars sound in game, it’s nice for some but the Pista could have gone for a louder more dirty sound
The Supra was the most real like of any. Even though the actual Supra was way more aggressive than the game. Nasty just like the earlier videos from TH-cam. Sounds amazing 💯⭐😎🏁🏁🏁😎😎🔥🔥🔥🍑🍑🍑🍑

While not all the sounds are perfect some are pretty close some are spot on and some need work but overall it’s a good job better the forza especially idle sounds like the rx7 brap ❤

The Enzo, MC12, F1 and P1 need a sound update. The Zonda R should sound more raw and aggressive

The engine sounds are quite good, but the transmissions and shifts are way too loud. On none of the real cars you can hear any transmission noises from the outside, the only thing you hear from the outside is that the revs drop.
Also the turbo whistle on the EB110 is too much.
It’s for esthetic purposes, it sounds like that for “cool” factor. And I personally like it a lot.

sound recorded on a professional mic compared to a mic on a simple handheld device. This is not a proper comparison and never will be.
TC Aston Martin Vulcan sounds nothing like RL, the Supra revs waay to low. The 488 Pista sounds like a modern 4 banger while the real one sounds like a high pitched crossplane V8(besides being flatplane). The TC EB110 sounds like a japanese 6 banger. The 918 sounds ok. The R8 sounds real. The game R35 sounds like the game Supra. The M4 sounds ok.
where are the forza fans that said forza recorded real car sounds and mf did their own?
the sound is broken in every single game, they can't fix the sound from a broken car, the car revving is terrible, the sound repeats itself on every car, the sound is not identical, this also applies to the speeds in the car game, it looks like you couldn't go full throttle at all, bad physics in the game, a lot of things that have been around for a long time it should have been mastered in the world of games they are totally stagnant for me there is no game that would meet my requirements

Yeah the sounds are cool but is that the reason you’re buying a game?!? It probably lacks realistic car physics. Looks just like another arcade racer. Gran turismo and assetto corsa FTW… again the sounds are pretty nice
All he did was make a comparison video between the video game and real life vehicle sounds. It’s not that deep. It’s also pretty clear that anyone who buys an arcade racer isn’t solely focused on realism and rather how fun the gameplay is.

Nope, motorfest has a better map, better sounds, better driver Animation, more attention to Detail, better content, better playlist, not reused cars or paid content (like the car Packs in fh5) better Customization and more. But one thing forza does better is the graphics.
