- TOP FIVE ROLEX WAITING LIST PERIOID | REVEALED BY AD
The Rolex waiting list is a list on which Rolex dealers can enter interested parties for the individual models. If the watch in demand is not currently available for immediate purchase - which is usually the case - the concessionaire can put the customer on this list and thus note that the respective watch fan would like to buy this watch in due course.
But beware: A "place" on the waiting list does not mean that you are guaranteed to receive a Rolex watch. Under certain circumstances, you may remain on the list for years without ever having had a real chance of getting the model you want - in this case, all the waiting time was for nothing.
To avoid disappointment, it is therefore important to familiarize yourself with exactly how the Rolex waiting list works. Interested parties should know that inclusion on the waiting list does not constitute a commitment to sell the watch at a later date. After all, who ultimately has the privilege of buying a Rolex watch is determined by various factors

My family knew a AD and I basically asked at the start of this year for either a Pepsi, Batman or sprite, I wasn’t fussed whichever I got. Got a call 3 days later to go to the Rolex shop near my work and get the Batman. I didn’t think I’d get it so quick as it was for my wife for our 15 year wedding anniversary in October this year. The whole experience of getting the watch was quite surreal as I was in my work clothes and my wife dressed casually and many people coming in and out of the store wanting to get a watch but not being able to purchase one whereas my wife is there getting the bracelet fitted. Then to top it off a snobby lady with all her branded clothing demanded the dealer sell her the watch my wife was getting fitted for as she said how come they can get it and they couldn’t. Dealer just told them that we were VIP lol. Loved it when we got our little green bag and left the shop. Dealer said that’s the only GMT II they had. Only other watch they had to sell was a gold yachtmaster or white gold sub I think.
I’m playing the wait list game. I’m on the list for a 36mm OP in either blue or black. I fully intend to buy another watch. When the AD calls and tells me my watch has arrived I’ll tell him to _________.
What I find comical about every AD you walk into, they always say they don't have any watches in stock. You could go in there ever day for a month and that's what you'll get told. It's one thing to lie, but come up with a better one. For stores that "never" have inventory, they sure manage to pay their leases.
but is that because they already had deals with other people to sell those watches in advance?
@@croixla88 in a fantasy world that would be true. I own six, it’s not my first rodeo with em and I have built a relationship with a certain ad that has explained it to me and it just a terrible business practice.
@@croixla88 Yes and no. While you do have people that are waiting, the AD inventory isn't sold out per say every week. That's just not realistic. I own six pieces, five of them where new while one was grey market. One of those were at an exclusive AD. I don't know exactly how actual exclusive AD ordering works, but I do have a relationship with an AD that's a multi AD. Rolex, Tudor, GS, Longines etc. I cant actually speak on exclusive ADs (an actual Rolex boutique), but for ADs that are multi I would say they're full of shit if they say they have no inventory every Tuesday OR they don't don't know what they're going to get as they (the multi) do their own ordering. While yes, they order their pieces and contact their clients on what has came in (because they order specific pieces), they also order a lot of basic oysters and day dates that the common person doesn't come in and ask about. I can go into my local AD, sit around and before I finish my second cup of coffee, they will have had at least 15 people come in and ask about pieces. Mine doesn't play the game of "we only have exhibition models" or the no inventory. They will tell you what they have available. Problem is I would say around 85% of those coming in asking are requesting pepsi, hulk, batman, starbucks, daytona etc.
I walked into an exlcusive AD on a friday evening with nothing on my wrist and was told they had zero inventory. I walked into the very same AD the next day on a saturday wearing my 116500 and all of a sudden they had around 16 pieces to show me.
@@croixla88 That's because they got strict orders from Rolex to investigate the persons on the waitlist first, through social media by name, and make sure that they're not flippers, who want to buy the watch only to sell them after for more money. If there's a red flag, you end up on the blacklist. So they won't sell you the watch right away, but after they're done with the whole process, you might get a call. I know it from a friend who worked at an AD.
The hulk was discontinued in 2020 must be an old vid
Yes. No sprite, and the Yachtmaster II was discontinued. I have no idea why they are posting this.
Demand and prices are coming down like crazy compared let say 12 months ago. China demand going down, just wait a year or so they will be begging you to buy it with discount.
Good luck getting a pepsi as a new customer within eighteen months
18 months? 😂 Years and years. No kidding.
Hulk is discontinued bro😂
No doubt the time may vary though great video enjoyed each second subscribed!!
Thanks for the sub!
What about the SS blue dial sky dweller?
Great video, though I am really tired of hearing about the Rolex "Pepsi" watch. I appreciate the fact that you covered other models.
GMT Master the Second? AI voiceover no doubt!
Submariner white gold available below list.
There is no waiting list!!! If you want a Rolex watch at an AD you must build a personal and I mean personal friend relationship with the manager and get his cell phone number and wait 3 to 5 years.
Do these ADs actually think that customers don’t know what they’re doing lol?
Question: what is the purpose of an authorised AD when you can get them immediately paying a premuim from a non authorised jeweler???
The answer is in the question. You have to pay a premium, often a very substantial one.
Not only paying premium, but often not getting the warranty card from Rolex
Very informative
Dayjust … 6m waiting time😂😂😂 funny, where, normally 1-2y
It’s only a waiting list due to the mark up people and fake low production Rolex makes over 1 million watches a year. But I can’t buy a new one lol
It all comes down to how much jewelry and watches (non-Rolex) you buy from that AD
I wish I could have one but I'm poor and I can't have one but I'm still going to get a plastic watch 😔⌚
I was going to get a Rolex but I’m getting Tudor instead
Coke Tudor $5,000
“ P E R I O D “
Fake news . Click bait
Complete bull shit.
agree with you. the AD's will kiss your behind to sell an Omega or Tag, but will treat you like a criminal if you dare ask to buy a Rolex.
Meteor Right dial? BEASEL? Come on.. fake stats. Click bait. Dumb video
Hahaha
Just recycled stories. Nothing new here.
This is a pants video. No doubt repeated more than a BBC production. Don’t waste your time on this content.
When it comes to fine imitation watches, nkuwan delivers. I've bought from them several times, and I've never been let down.
What a complete load of bollocks.
