Yay! Really enjoyed this! I loved that Dorothy Thorpe punch bowl set and my grandmother had that hall dripwear set. I would have been powerless in that lamp room-I would have wanted them all!
This video was really fun. I love going to antique markets and Carboot sales here in the UK so it was really interesting following you about and seeing all the differences and similarities where you are. Your music choice was also really fun. I've been learning to play the banjo for nearly 4 years so I was able to play along to a couple of the song 😄
Wow, I had no idea this place existed! Just told my husband next time we go north we're taking a side trip to Adamstown, and to plan to stay overnight so I can look! Thanks for taking us along.
Another fun trip 'antiquing' with you! I envy your self-control... I don't think that I could have left that Hebrew typewriter behind, nor the L.C. Smith Bros. typewriter shipping box...
Oh boy, i would have LOVED to tag along for that trip. Not only for a nice US model Typewriter but maybe even for a nice writing desk. I saw some REAALLLYYY nice ones in your video. These old dressers are also fantastic. Now THAT is some REAL furniture.
BTW, you've mentioned looking for typewriter tools in a couple of your antiquing adventure videos; would you make a video of some of these tools you have and how they are used?
Just got a remington machine (portable 2) by accident because the shopgoodwill auction listed it as “just the case” because they didn’t know how to open it?
You have to remember to haggle for everything. $60 for that box was too much, so offer them what you would want to pay. Places like the ones your visit probably have stuff for a long time.
Very nice and interesting trip as always. Thank you for taking us with you. Just not sure about your chances becoming a professional singer though ... ;-)
That Hebrew Hermes really is interesting. Seems they used the same carriage they used for Arabic typewriters, which also write from right to left. And yeah Taxidermy is also not my thing xDD It's sooo incredibly creepy and nightmare fuel. Would never want to put stuffed animals into my home. Unless it's cute plushies maybe. My god these places are a scavenger heaven. That old black radio in the back at 14:52 looked really neat too :) And yes these working lamps are freaking sweeeeet. Congrats on saving that Smith Corona from the ending up in the trash 🥰
Smells like Type spirit. 8) Very cool travel adventures! That Hermes was amazegreat. Thank you for sharing.
Lovely tour and thanks for taking us with! Now I wanna go, only that would mean replacing my little Miata with a car that has a back seat.
🤔
I love the typewriter rescue and she cared enough to ask.
That Hebrew typewriter looks amazing! I would have gotten that just to say I have a typewriter that types right to left

Could you do a video on how to spot typewriter case keys and typewriter tools? I always have trouble with that because I don’t know what to look for!
I'm also still learning! I'll see what I can do
@@JustMyTypewriterThanks so much! :)
What a cool hermes! That price would tempt me too, even though it would get almost no use :) good luck on the sterling!
That taxidermy fox's look on the face 😂😂
I was there! I just home last night. I have to stay at least 7-8 days and Sunday is Renningers Flea. Good finds.

I've got to be honest. I wouldn't know a typewriter tool from Adam(stown). Again, such a great selection of stuff

sometimes I watch a bunch of your vids in a row and call it a "Sarah-Thon"
Love these videos. That red typewriter had my attention!!!
Love these antiquing videos! ❤

I hope that the smith corona sterling is nothing like the deluxe to repair!

@@JustMyTypewriter Live ironically. Much. More. Fun.

As we are always on the mission to save Typewriters from being scraped..
Is it hard to find cursive typewriters? I'm in continental Europe and found it surprisingly easy, currently have 4.
congrats on your finds!
ya done good kid. next stop, the moon
Made my wife watch this last night; now we're planning a trip up there.
I hope you enjoy it! Some really cool spots for sure
@@JustMyTypewriter Hoping there might be some yummy German food up that way too! :9
We are poor in Europe with stores like that 😢
Would have been nice to mention the prices on those typewriters which is why I clicked on this video 🤔
Thank you for the feedback, I'll keep that in mind for the next one!
We never hear your fridge 🙂
