- Went exploring in around my apartment and in Seattle finally :-) started off with Dong Ting Chun a hunan restaurant serving authentically delicious Chinese food. Then headed into Seattle to eat at a Malay.

Kedai Makan is not a Cambodian place! They serve Malaysian/Indonesian inspired cuisine. You should try other dishes there too, love their rice dishes. Welcome to Seattle btw!

I've lived here my entire life and you are showing me so many good places to eat already I'm really glad you moved here there's a really good place out here where I live that has a seasonal menu and the chef is amazing if you ever want to come have dinner I'd be glad to show you this wonderful little restaurant that is not very well known
All you can eat dungeness crab buffet at the Tulalip casino north of Seattle (Tuesday's, go early)

@@AmelieZh I think it opens at 4pm, but last time I was there the lineup was starting to form around 3pm. There's also another crab buffet farther north at Silver reef casino in Ferndale. That one is on Friday nights starting at 5pm
Oh god I hated working during seafood Tuesdays at eagles. Btw call In advance for the time their hours changes during the seasons also it gets pretty damn packed if you don’t come at least a hour in advance before dinner (when seafood Tuesday starts) you are in for a long wait. Remembers the endless seafood is only on Tuesdays at the eagles buffet.
I prefer crab sack in Seattle though.

Mike, my favorite restaurant in Seattle is the Tamarind Tree in the International District. Tucked away in the corner of a parking lot; it's fantastic, you should check it out!
You're going to have so much fun in Seattle! July/August is probably the sunniest. Also being up north where you're at will be sunnier than most areas. Dick's has a lot of nostalgia for a lot of folks. Kidd Valley was my favorite.
I've passed by Dong Ting Chun quite a few times, but have never went because of the lack of patrons inside, the health rating, and the Yelp reviews. After watching this though, I went for lunch today and it was fantastic! Really authentic flavors that reminded me of my grandmother's cooking. Thanks, Mike!

Highly recommend a pasta place in Pioneer Square called IL Corvo. Also, you should do a coffee shops tour around Seattle

So excited that you moved to Seattle! I have visited a lot and will move there soon so here's a few places I would recommend: Mamnoon (middle eastern food), Il Corvo (house made pasta, which only opens for lunch), Tamarind Tree (vietnamese food), Dolar Shop in Bellevue (hot pot), and Matcha Cafe Maiko (if you miss Japan's matcha soft served ice cream, it'll hit the spot.)

You need to try Mama doughs in Kent, I love, love, love their soup dumplings. There is an awesome bakery in the same little hole in the wall mall also worth trying

Welcome to the PNW! Don't worry about the rain, it'll rain more in the Fall and Wintertime. Although, we did have quite a few rain days these last couple of days, so you may have got to experience the PNW rain. I've noticed while living here, that the eastsides (Redmond, Bellevue, etc) tend to be on the drier side compared to cities on the other side of Lake Washington (Seattle, Shoreline, Lynnwood). You definitely do live in a good area with an abundance of food and trails for your fitness needs.
As for your food videos, love it! I've been watching your videos since your Chen Dynasty days! Although I've lived here all my life, I haven't gotten the chance to explore all of the restaurants here. But with your help of checking out all these places, I can make my way to them! Thanks for making such awesome videos! Keep it up!

A pastrami sandwich in NYC video which was on TH-cam will live with me forever! Indeed, I was so smitten with the sandwich that I lost focus on everything else, including the presenter! Portland's one of the top food cities in the nation, I've gone there (and will go again) mainly for the food. The Columbia River Gorge and the Oregon coast are bonuses.

One of my friends helped open a place called Meaty Johnson's in Capitol Hill, their brisket and ribs are amazing!

I recommend Yeas Wok in Newcastle, wa for Chinese. There is always a wait and Boeing brings over all the Chinese tourists by bus. A dishwasher repair man recommended to me years ago and claimed they had the cleanest kitchen in all of seattle.
As someone who's lived by Yea's Wok for decades, I agree they're very good. Strongly recommend ordering off the Chinese menu. The snails are super tasty.
Mike! Next time you get spring rolls, put maybe a tablespoon of hoisin sauce and as much sriracha as you want and enjoy it!
