Fishing Gulf of Mexico, Beaches, Surf, Bays, Saltwater Canals, Rivers, Piers, Lagoons, Rigs, Jetties in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Fort Morgan, Alabama - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
I jumped on Hwy 90 in Louisiana heading south from New Orleans. There were all kinds of places to throw a net for bait. I cast my net and caught a big red and a few shrimp. A local came over and told me that the fish was a red and that I could catch lots of shrimp out at a point about a mile out. He said take my boat and go get us some shrimp. I caught about two gallons of shrimp in 45 minutes and headed back. He took about a quart and left me with more shrimp than I had ever had. I gave him the red and headed back home to boil me some shrimp. I always think about how well I was treated down in the Bayou country. I stay away from the big cities and head for the country where the people are the best.
I’ve got throwing a banana down to a science. I can’t wait to grab my nets and give your method a go. Thanx!
Good luck !
You live in paradise bro! Love watching the boats in the background
Thanks for showing this. I’m just now getting into saltwater fishing, and been watching your videos. I really enjoy how you actually explain what and how you do techniques. I also respect you give all the glory to the good lord above. Please keep the videos coming.
I started out with a 4 foot net. It was a lot easier to learn with smaller net. Good video 👍
Thank you for your service 🙏. I enjoy your videos ive learned alot .I moved to the Gulf of Mexico 2 years ago and my fishing has came a long way
Solid channel bro! One of my favorites

Years ago I was throwing out of the boat and lost my balance and fell out of the boat. saved the net and myself, obviously, but no shad that throw lol. You have nice technique. Havavgudun salty.
Dude bout to hit 11k
He deserves it
Love your videos , I'm retired Air Force , live in shelby county Al ,
Im going to give it a try that method I just bought an 8ft net .
Thanks for sharing your information and instructions, thanks for your service for our country and protecting our way of life and values 🇺🇸🇺🇸✅💥✌️
daaaaaaang. you had an armored hatch fall on your wrist! you're lucky you still have the hand, right?! you're tough man.
Thanks for info
Different technique than either way I throw, have to try it. I throw two different ways, 1 for the 6 and 8 foot, 1 for the 9 to 14 feet. I do not chinch loop my rope on my wrist. I have it tight enough I can curl my wrist to stop it from sliding off, but loose enough it can pull off with force. You just never know what can happen. My boat, no props are turning when I throw, but with a friend he almost got the net. Jumped forward the instant I threw thinking I needed closer to the bait he was seeing and not what I threw on. Boat went right over the net and line, and even falling I shook that loop off my wrist. Prop didn't snag it, hooked the line, had some bait-that time.
wish my backyard looked like that
great i c ould never quite get the hag of throwing a cast net. i would love to see exactly how you rig live bait caught with the cast net.. thanks.
Good video. Keep doing you. You need to get up with bama beach bum and do a video. Local boys. Congratulations on blowing by 10k.
I'll have to try that. I've watched others...hold some in your teeth...put some over your shoulder. I still have trouble casting. Your method looks easier!!
Thanks for showing👍👍

What size mesh for greenbacks, millet and thread fin
I really like 3/8" for smaller Baits and 1/2" mesh for the larger baits. My mullet only net is 1" mesh
@@BamaSaltwater does it hurt to catch bigger baits with 3/8
You stage that come on bro
Yeah. I am a fish whisperer and tell them to come in my net. Come on bro lol
@@BamaSaltwater I already watch all your videos in one week
@@jeromewaites5364 Good, thanks for the views ;)
It did not work
Anyone throw on a shark or gator with that thing tied to your wrist?
Throwing a pancake is waaaaaay over rated. You will get fish with three quarter opening.
I agree haha!
Trash
Great Video! I sent you a friend request on fb! I make pinfish traps bull minnow traps bait pens to keep your live bait alive and crab traps! Would be glad to make you some of everything!
