    Diff.strokes. My horn is always up , one fold of 6-8' net , 2 folds on 10 - 12's & fan the 1/3 weight over my L shoulder ( a Lefty) by reaching from inside net. Cast mines as low as possible , couple of feet above water, but i put a quick lil but un notisable Salsa Snap , all hips & even tug @ it , the second is about to open. Big & heavy 3/4" Mullet nets are mostly for the taller Bridges where Flight time is just right w/o giving it a push. So many ways & if you stop for awhile dont expect pretty tablecloths for half a doz tries. Good stuff , Bud. Hasta.. 👌😁

    That’s almost exactly how I throw cast net. I had a 3’ net when I was 6 or 7, learned to throw them moved up. I can’t do it without putting it in my mouth. I’ve seen some crazy
    Ways to throw a cast net but you’re the only other person I’ve seen put the weight line in his mouth. I was beginning to think I was crazy. lol

    When the momentum get to your left palm can you feel it? It appears you know it and you let go the net without wasting a nanosecond.Impressive!Can you feel the lead line run away from your right hand first and then your pin-key second?The reason I ask is that I have seen other people's video They don't bother with the pin-key.

    • @kenl7847
      @kenl7847 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      correction I mean pin key in your left hand not right hand.
      p.s .The first thing is the momentum that your body made it then the left hand take command.The left hand must know the moment to split the net taking the full advantage of
      momentum to make a ideal distance and full open of the net.It is a short time and then the right take care the rest of it.I see too many hold net too long and lost some of momentum.

    How do baitfish generally hang out? Do you just hit up the flats with some tropical fish food and cast out? And how deep of water can you catch baitfish with that net?

    • @SeeYaDude
      @SeeYaDude  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They're typically in schools on grass flats or hanging around structure like docks or bridges. Chumming on grass flats early in the morning or around sunset is a good way to try and catch bait. and I've caught bait in 12' of water with that net, but it's mostly designed for less than 6'

  • @Jason-wx7ms

    I’m shopping for my first cast net. Would a 3/8 work in our area for greenbacks or do you think you really need the 1/4”? The 3/8 seem to be more available.

    • @SeeYaDude
      @SeeYaDude  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      A 3/8" net will be good the majority of the time around here, but be careful you don't throw on a school of smaller greenies or you'll pull up a full christmas tree

      but seriously, great tutorial. been watching a lot of them to try and figure out how to throw my net that I just got recently. “fundamentals” that I am seeing in almost every video that apply, across the board, is to have correctly coiled each and every time prior to the throwing technique. “coil technique”, then, “throwing technique”

    I'm a waist twisting mouth tosser myself. I cast off kayak no problem but I like to wade n throw. Dude I just bought a new net online. Gave my old one to a stranger at a bridge on my way out.. this new one has eco friendly weights..fuck if it doesn't sink sllllooowww. I threw on surface fingermullet yesterday and they just laughed at me. I was so pissed. Finally bagged 4 threadfin after I chummed with a can of catfood. Ill order leadweight today.
    Big mistake but I wanted to try.

    but once you've done your first throw, the second throw will be kinda yakee.. as if the water is dirty, you need to clean the net first before you bite the led , then throw...

      But copy korte parle guarantee , each time casted will be , it will did spread completely as each spell is the best spell , net has been complex net folded and gripped that grip and fould of net in that way along with late release of tactfully folded regions content in hand made it expand fully , that folding work effects as is the technique of why net got spread ✌
