- Foo Fighters attempt to cover Bryan Adams' 'Summer of 69' at Rogers Arena in Vancouver BC Canada Friday September 11, 2015.
Before the performance Dave Grohl told a story about working on a Nirvana album at a house in Vancouver where he ended up finding out it was Bryan Adams' house.
During the performance of the song, Grohl screws up the lyrics. The lyrics sheets that were place on the floor near him were either in the wrong order or something else was wrong with them.
This is a re-upload of a video that was lost when my original TH-cam channel was unceremoniously shut down.
Dave is the real deal. Didn't know tye words and he kept it going. 💯 love

Funny thing is Bryan’s songs are notoriously easy to play. Dave can jam with the best of them and is tripped up on a song that is predominantly A & D chords. Now vocals wise, he couldn’t touch Bryan. Bryan’s vocals still hold up. Look up any summer of 69 live performance as recent as a month ago and you’ll see how great he still sounds.

He is usually entertaining and really good but this was horrible. I can't like everything. It sounded bad, he didn't know the words etc. I will pass on this. Couldn't even make it thought the song.
