    Dear Jasmine, thanks for this wonderful video, about so-called "affordable" homes!
    Affordable is a very relative term of speech! What is affordable for a high earning person, is
    totally out of reach for the "ordinary" working population!
    I live in Germany and have decades of experience about various house designs and their costs.
    Unfortunately, flat roofs have proved to start leaking, very soon after the heavy rains have
    tested them, as the roof drainage needs regular maintenance since the self-cleaning action of
    a sloped roof is absent on a flat one! Most houses look nice and inviting when new! But to
    decide whether to buy a house or not, should be determined after a few years service,
    without any problems in any weather! Good luck with all your projects!
    I so much would like to come to Ghana, but cannot afford it!

    • @emlillthings7914
      @emlillthings7914 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Living in Northern Scandinavia, I'll second that, and add snow to the equation. Having a brand new, but small 30 sq/m roof makes it less of issue for me, but the ~3 degree slope is flat enough for me to go for building a roof terrace on top, and divert all precipitation before it touches the roof, for the exact reasons you outlined.
      If I buy a small house in Ghana with a flat roof, I'll definitely make a roof terrace if the roof is flat.
      ,,, also, best view on the plot is above it 😏

    • @thomasackermann
      @thomasackermann 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dear @@emlillthings7914, Thank you for your good and intelligent reply!
      My father was an Architect in Germany and he designed houses with
      integral greenhouses, which generate heat, when it is most needed and also
      give you the look of plants, even if you live in a town! There are so many
      nice solutions, which need not cost a lot, but, most modern Architects
      prefer to design "Show-houses", which cost lots of work and money to
      maintain and, once "the novelty" is worn-off, the owners often want to
      move into easier to look after houses.

      In Brooklyn, NY we have 150 year old Brownstone homes with slightly sloped flat roofs similar to the ones on these homes. We have snow, rain and the heat of the summer sun here and as long as we provide regular maintenance, the roofs are fine. I hope that is the case with these homes.

    Glad they enlarged the layout, that guest bathroom was tight, Aunty might get stuck! Awesome planning for inverter and water backup, then no noisy generator. There must be a massive market for affordable solar power/battery storage. Love as always your personal touch Jasmine.

      I doubt this price range is affordable for the average Ghanian if no mortgage facilities based upon their average earnings are available. It seems all Africa is building to attract foreigners/Africans abroad earning western salaries, and just like in the western Countries the local people get priced out of a comfortable living in their own communities. Very sad.

    Good evening Jasmine, the houses are lovely and the ultra modern finishes are spot on. The floor plans are nice, but the kitchen and baths have an opportunity to be fixed. The space is too small. I am American living in the states and of course our homes are bigger and more spacious. I would purchase any of these homes and the prices are dirt cheap! I realize not everyone can afford and I wish they could! Great job young lady, in the future you will be living like this!

    Hi,Jazzy,thanks alot for the video.I was just wondering,why are all the properties sold in US DOLLARS and not in cedis?.ARE THEY SOLD TO ONLY THE ONES WHO CAN AFFORD THEM IN DOLLARS?WE ARE IN GHANA,AND I THINK WE HAVE TO BEAR I MIND THAT,NOT EVERYONE CAN AFFORD EVERYTHING IN DOLLARS.LET`S THINK ABOUT THAT AT LEAST FOR A WHILE.

    • @missceebrownin
      @missceebrownin 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was thinking about this, I reckon it might be to do with the fluctuation of currency - for eg the cedi is over 8 to £1 (not sure what is in $) and is losing value. It enables them to keep the value (this is my theory lol) as $ is the worldwide currency

    lol…Jasmine! Nice view of the construction project but no shirtless men! Ha! Nevertheless I love the 3 bedrooms home. If I live in Africa I would live in Ghana at the Greens! Ps. Sweet real estate agent!

    Rooms are too small. Have enough trouble with the leaking of flat roof in the North East USA. Where is the yard space? Roads need to be paved with proper drainage. What is the average salary of a Ghanaian who can afford this? Is the property sold as a lease?

    • @kennykross3306

      THE PLACE IS YET NOT FINISHED AND STILL UNDERCONSTRUCTION. THE HOMES ARE ACAUIRED BY GHANAINS.

    Listen Seso Global have paid a lot of big Ghanaian and Nigerian TH-camrs to do the same video (house tours of The Greens) lazy marketing in Seso’s part. Seso Global isn’t Black or African owned. Time to support our own.

    Please comment on exact size of floor space, also building materials, air conditioning, average utility bills per month. Do these home come furnished? If not why talk about the furniture? Also, there were hardly any trees or plants for curb appeal

      Really??? I think the essence of this video was to provide a quick view of what is out there. It would seem reasonable that if u want the specifics abt the property, your best bet would be to contact the housing development directly. I do not believe that Jasmine said that she worked for the company. In fact, I don’t even think the lady who was showing Jasmine the homes would have information on decisions surrounding tree planing 🧐🧐. I think the developers would be more than happy to entertain your questions.
      Great job, Jasmine! I appreciate your hard work and the effort that goes into producing such content 💕💕

    Hi Jasmine, a Lil unrelated question. I saw in some of your videos rent in ghana per month. Is rent paid per month or it is paid at one for 12months. I'm think of moving and paying per month would be easier than a whole year. Please let me know

    • @JasmineAmaa
      @JasmineAmaa  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      12 to 24 months is paid in advance x
