I always go by the rule, the price you see is the price you pay. if the store hasn't adjusted from the system that's their loss. Just teaches them to keep constant checks going.
I once bought a sixpack and the cashier scanned the barcode of the bottle, so I got 5 bottles for free. Didn’t realize it until later. I also once got a pair of shoes cheaper because the % off label was put on wrong. The system showed a higher price than the label, and I got it for the extra discount because it was their own mistake.
LOL! That's the springdale Arkansas Game Xchange! I've been to that one before and That game xchange is huge and has lots of boxed retro games! I need to go back to that one again, it's been a minute lol!
Mad respect for being honest and upfront when they made a mistake. You set a fine example for all of your viewers but even more so for your kid. Kudos to you, man.
When Switch came out, I wasn't immediately sold on it, so I bought Zelda: BotW on Wii U. I ended up beating the game on Wii U and nearly completing (didn't get all the Korok seeds). When I got a Switch I bought BotW again, but never played through it. So my full experience with the game was on Wii U.

Man, those Ben 10 figures are sick!! I know your channel is more about late 80s early 90s and Ben 10 is 2000s - 2010s, but man Ben 10 is such an amazing show and I have never seen those figures before! (Actually I might have seen the Aggregor but I didn't know it was an official figure)
I wanna go somewheres in the states and game hunt, so many games and stores. Where I live in Nova Scotia, the retro game stores don’t exist, pawn shops is where you need to go buy games, and they usually have bad stuff, or way over priced stuff, never find any deals, if anything they are asking way more than it’s worth a lot.
When you showed the semi truck it reminded me of a scene from wizard 1989. My friends older brother made sure that us kids born in 90 and above knew what that movie was. They have no nostalgic value to me! They range from $15-$40-$100+ each. You can take them all for $15 each! Over or around 20 of them. With beanies stay away from birds and cats. I thought the pricing error was gonna be those CIB NES games. $20 ish for 2 boxed NES?!?! Yes & Please! Hell, the Goodwill I get all my games from wouldn't have had them *that* cheap!
On Riffos video I got the 69th comment. Here on got the 96th comment. What are the odds? I been here since a little over 10k subs. So awesome to see how large the channel has grown. I mean my guy owns his own store. 🤝
@Marko Polo That makes sense. I just can't stand not having the cases for games that didn't come in disposable packaging due to me being a perfectionist collector lol
@Marko Polo Fair enough, I just started taking collecting seriously within the past couple years due to me already having a decent amount of retro games.
When I see a store like that, with shelves lined with dozens of the same, quality items, all I think is that their prices must be garbage. Either that, or they give crazy high trade credit, and everyone is taking advantage of them.
Good karma is essential to life. I'm not huge on playing video games anymore, so it having a cover depends on the game, and it's flip potential if I'm going to buy it without the box art.
Rick's better than me. Years ago I got the Hitman Absolution collector's edition for $25 from a GameStop because they forgot to take off the Black Friday pricing. Manager tried to give me the whole "oh we forgot to take the tag off" and I just gave him the blank stare.
If it's a place like Walmart and they mess up the price in my favor I'm not going to say anything, but a small video game store or any small business I'll definitely be honest.
Man, i could go on and on with the items i sold and regret based on today's prices. Ranging from CIB games like Chrono Trigger, FF 2 & 3, Working Design SCD games. Also CIB consoles from NES to GC.
