Quite a bit about this is unrealistic but it is still one of my favorite kill screens. My favorite part is the ending. The noises and color palette, as unrealistic as they are, are pretty unnerving and built up pretty steadily. They make the ending even scarier, as rather than a jumpscare, it's just silent. It's like the Wii was in more and more agony as it went on, like you were pushing it too hard and it was dying. And it was desperately trying to salvage some degree of worth to you, but in the process, it just died. Went silent. You killed it. It wouldn't do that in real life, but I can suspend my disbeleif and say that it's a simulation of what would happen if consoles were more like us, or at least sentient robots.
My main problem with this killscreen is the part where it waid if you continue your warranty will be void cause thats just outlandish having your warrenty void because of an error but other than that i like it
No. It’s understandable. Being told repeatedly to turn off your console to avoid further damage and then STILL turning it on SHOULD void a warranty. It’s an act of negligence, in a way.
I was thinking the exact same thing. 1. Why would they list it down like it was a common occurrence. 2. That means it would have to release different manuals for different supermarkets. Like what if you get the console imported, that wouldn't make much sense. 3. Besides, it would just take way too much time and hassle for doing it in different places like Canada, United States, Japan, and every other place that would sell a Wii.
@@xl73. If it were to happen, it would likely just be lists of operating chains. Like other products. When you go to look at an official product website (let's say Squishmallows, since it's a good example, and we love them even though we're 22 😅) they don't list EVERY store in your local area, or at least until you provide your location data so it can look up a tracker. What they do is place the LOGOS of their participating retailers (Walmart, Target, Costco, etc.) So, in the case of a US copy, it would likely show the Target logo, Walmart logo, Toysrus logo (rest in peace, Geoffrey) and Best Buy logo. All of those RETAILERS sold Nintendo Wiis in their stores, so you could assume your local Target or Best Buy probably had more in stock because, very likely, you bought the first one already from those chains. For other regions, they would have other logos (in the UK we know of GameSpot because of the whole Mario Party 8 fiasco, since they were one of the main retailers who handled the recall to exchange the disks. We don't have GameSpot in the US, we have GameStop. Also, we just noticed those names are the exact same but the P and T are swapped. Huh.)
