I was skeptical a for a bit, but still hooked into thinking this was real until I saw the errors that said to hold the left and right bumpters + A. Original Xbox didn't have bumpers. I was also pretty doubtful still until then just from the sheer fact that if the system was really in a shutdown state, it wouldn't be storing any data that would be able to track the previous attempts at accessing the console, thus making it not possible to display progressive error messages that say things like "You've been warned numerous times" ect.
