  • So in today's talk through, I am giving an explanation and demonstration on Aloe and how it benefits HAIR :) Aloe Vera Juice/Aloe Vera GEL is so beneficial for our hair. In particular, I have found that it is very helpful in maintaining and moisturizing my natural 4b/4c type hair. Basically, this is the ultimate rescue for my 4C hair! The best form of Aloe to use is the raw gel of the Aloe plant itself on your hair. Aloe Vera has the following benefits for Hair:
    1. Conditions and improves dry damaged hair
    2. Calms itchy Scalp
    3. Deep Cleans Oily Hair
    4. Strengthen and Repair hair strands
    5. Promote hair growth and increase blood circulation
    There are too many positive attributes! So give it a try and let me know what you think. If you have any questions about how to harvest your own aloe from a plant directly or from a store-bought Aloe Leaf, let me know. I can film a video on exactly what I do to break down the Aloe into liquid form. Please watch the previous MOISTURE Retention video I made, as this is PART 2 to it. As always, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WATCHING! I'll see you at the next one!

    Can we take a moment to admire your beauty and your hair?!! Please don't trust any hairdresser unless s/he comes highly recommended by other naturals

    Don’t go to a salon. I have sooo many horror stories about trying to go to a professional. The last time I went this woman twisted my BSL 4c hair into one ponytail and proceeded to twist and rip it out. When I jumped up out the shampoo chair and asked her why she was ripping my hair out she said they were dead ends!!! WTF! First off who twists hair into a ponytail and rips through the hair with both hands why not take me to the chair and use scissors if I had dead ends.
    What she did was tangled up my hair when she washed it and instead of trying to pick through all the tangles SHE decided she was just gone rip my hair off by grabbing it taught in one hand and used the other hand to rip off anything outside of what she was holding in her fist. I was in shock. I cried for a week and lost 7 inches of hair. people dont realize how long 4c hair is in its natural state and assume it’s short. Not everyone can do 4c hair. I will Never go to another salon. I wanted to fight her that day. I should have sued her!!! It’s been 6 years and I’m just getting past BSL...never again!
    Your hair is beautiful...no one cares about your hair like you (just remember that😊)...good luck!

      I never had waist length, but when my hair grows it seems to get stuck at one length for almost a year... and then all of a sudden i realize it has gotten longer

    First like first comment 😆 I’ve never seen anyone pre condition with Shea butter 🤔 great results I have to try. & Yes we want the wash vid sis!
    Also I would like to start using aloe more I think having an actual plant would help definitely. Are they easy plants to maintain?
    Anyways you look beautiful. Great vid ❤️

    • @KayDeeTV
      @KayDeeTV  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes try it!!! Girl yes, they are easy to maintain. So I'm in FL and Aloe Vera needs a warm climate so keep that in mind, but overall maintenance is low and can grow in most soils.

    Would you do this just as a pre-poo or can it be just a way to add moisture on dry days without washing it?

    I love aloe, I try to use products that are aloe based. I think I missed something, why hydrate the scalp before cleaning. It doesn’t lift the cuticle or have cleansing agents, does it to help the itching?

  • @Lilianamarie999
    @Lilianamarie999 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Does this work if you already have a lot of product in your hair? Yes please to current washday routine.

    I don't shampoo all of my hair anymore. Shampoo always dried it out soooo bad. It is really thick, so I could never wash it fast enough before it started to dry out. I use a cowash for the bulk of my hair, but I skip the roots. I then go in section by section and put shampoo just on my roots and scalp. I don't need to deep condition anymore and my scalp is clean.

    Dont know why people swear by aloes..it has protein and protein buildup will caused more dryness
