Don't ever change, this is classic TH-cam. No music, no fancy equipment, no fluff. I love hearing the camera focus and the tripod click with adjustments. This is new classic content and what the platform is all about.

I get how some people don't wanna hear it. But the TH-cam of old was full of anyone with a camera shooting things that interested them. Nowadays they are edited on a computer and all the things that made it a pure low budget experience has been rinsed off. So to see his work is a really nice throwback.

There was a lot of stirring, even then with new product. I refused to eat it, though, and never eat it now. Grand parents loved the stuff, and they added canned fruit pieces. Brave of you to eat it.

Hey, we have some bowls just like yours! We had some plates and other dishware with the same design too. A lot have broken over the years though.
We made gelatin for family potluck picnics and sometimes as dessert at home back in the day. The two most popular brands were Jello and Royal Gelatin. When making the dessert, sometimes fruit was added, and sometimes vegetables were added. They were always firm. When refrigerating, most people I knew added ice cubes to help cool it down and firm it faster in the refrigerator. That might be a reason why yours didn't firm up like the modern one. As for color, that could be related to different ingredients, although it looked more like Black Cherry in color than Strawberry. And of course, as you also noted, the old one was pretty old. It's remarkable the powder wasn't as hard as a brick.

Isn't gelatin from beef. Cartilage and beef bones. I could totally be wrong about that. Just thought I seen how it was made. On that show. How it's made. Now I'm going to check this out. Great comparison with the Jello!

It’s amazing the 1953 package tasted the same as the 2019 package. 66 years later. On a side note, this is the first time I’ve ever seen your full face and you don’t look anything like I imagined.
