Daryle is one of my all time favorite voices in country. I saw him years ago in Tuscumbia, AL at the Helen Keller festival and when he belted out the first line of this song everybody around me stopped what they were doing and turned around toward the stage. Great great country singer.
True country music by a true country artist! It's a damn shame we can't turn on our local radio stations and hear Mr. Singletary belt out his awesome music. But at least we have access to ITunes and of course, his CD's. Also folks, whenever true country artists such as Daryle are playing a show in your area,make sure you don't miss it! Let's all support them and who knows, country radio just may come back around.

I came across this a few weeks ago and honestly I had let him slip my mind over the years but have been listening to his songs solid for the last two weeks. As a terrible guitar player and an average singer myself, I can truly appreciate this performance. Incredible job by a great voice of the country music I grew up listening to.
Daryle is about the only guy who could pull this song off. It takes some sharp notes to hit them jus right! I watched him on the Countrys Family Reunion Show do this. Very cool!!!
