- Rhonda and Daryle on Larry's Country Diner, promoting their new music album with a release date of 7/7/2017. The CD can be ordered from RhondaVincent.com, or rhondavincent.c..., or Amazon, and the songs can be downloaded from iTunes. Larry broadcasts in SD, so I upscaled to double SVGA using Blu-ray specs. It should look great on a smart phone or tablet, but is lacking on my 27" PC monitor at full screen. How strange that DVD quality now looks so pitiful. :-)

I heard this CD today on c106.1 , Cousin Carl in Cape Girardeau , Mo. Another traditional country station , that plays great traditional country 24 hours a day , everyday. This is a great cd by great artists , buy it and continue promoting traditional country because we fans must continue telling producers this is what we want .
I bought their new album and I love it, didn't even know it was coming out. I stumbled acrossed it searching for music to listen to like I always do and I'm so glad I found it. This is real Country music. I love Daryle and follow him as much as I can, I'm just now really learning of Rhonda and my lord, she can sing anything, these two together are magical.
Warren Stanley: I've been following Rhonda for 25 years, and got to meet her 13 years ago. She is the biggest "star" I know of who is accessible, because of her genuine love for people. Her accessibility on Facebook was damaged by Facebook's rule of shifting members to celebrity status when 5,000 friends have been recorded. Now one has to catch her when she is actually active in order to get a response, but that's more access than anyone else I know. I don't know of any other Bluegrass/Country celebrity that works Facebook, Instagram and Twitter every day just to stay in touch with fans. I recorded her when she came to my area last year, but she was not singing because she was still recovering from a nasty illness that swept through her band. She cautioned me about hugging her, but because I get to see her only every couple of years, I took the risk. I was sick for 30 days - worth every minute! :-)

SidsCardShop That's awesome, the only celebrity I've met and talked to is Sting the wrestler, very down to Earth and genuinely a nice person, he's also Christian and strong in his faith and I thought that was pretty cool. My dad was telling me about Rhonda and how she's on RFDTV sometimes but he knew of her already. He was saying how good she was too. I just can't believe how long it took me to learn of her as much I love Traditional Country Music and listen to it. I'm really wearing out that cd though, lol.

Her first country album was "Written In The Stars" and is available used from an Amazon Merchant on CD for $2.77 + $3.99 shipping, or from Amazon as a digital download for $6.90. (I frequently buy used CDs & DVDs from the Merchants, and have never been disappointed, although the Amazon guarantee keeps me from worrying that the Merchant might be lying about his product.)
Her second/last country album was Trouble Free, and is more expensive, but is available as a digital download from Amazon for $9.49. On this album, one song is worth $10 to me: "At The Corner Of Walk And Don't Walk."
Every time I think of that song I am stuck with it for the day. You should go to Amazon and play the 30-second clips of these two albums to see if you like them. I see the mistake I have made: She made a duet album with Gene Watson, and this Singletary collaboration makes 4. The truth is, many of her songs sound like country with a banjo and mandolin. Also, my musical appreciation is very eclectic, including some classical, and two of the songs on her first DVD include a cello along with 3 violins, and are just about the most beautiful musical creations I have ever heard. I would love to post them, but my policy is not to post songs that I know are currently available for sale - and "Ragin' Live" is available from her website, if not anywhere else, after 12 years.
Different subject: I once paid $18 for a "Mike + The Mechanics" CD in order to get one song, "Living Years." I had been trying to mold my daughter into my image for 17 years, and when I heard that song (although it was written out of a son-father relationship) it hit me like a ton of bricks what I had been doing. I printed the lyrics, and then had a tearful meeting with my daughter, during which I read the lyrics, explaining what they meant to me and how changed my attitude had become. It revolutionized our relationship, and today I am rewarded in my retirement years with an unconditional love atmosphere where my wife and I live on the ground floor of a nice house with my daughter and her husband on the second floor - our granddaughter has moved away with her husband, but not far - and she is just the sweetest person ever. Sorry to bore you with this - for some reason my heart just started leaking. :-)

Lars DeCase: That's because she is primarily Bluegrass. She made 2 country albums, but for the past 2 decades she has played Bluegrass except for collaborations such as this. She has produced 26 albums, including 2 DVDs and 1 Blu-ray, and has won 1 Grammy, in addition to more than 100 awards for her and her band (which keeps changing, as is the nature of Bluegrass as well as most bands of all genres.)

Rhonda came to our mom and dad’s house in Indiana and Rhonda absolutely loved mom’s cooking so much that she gave her front row tickets to a show and she’s a down to earth girl great singer

This is a very sad day for us pure country fans! Ronda and the gang , sorry for your loss and it was no doubt that Daryl will be missed. I listen to you two everyday and the last song I played last evening was the American Grandstand and then I fell to sleep. I couldn't believe I woke this morning and heard he had passed? Never understand why they go so early. I listen to him and Ronda and the gang everynight to fall a sleep . RIP and we will be praying for the family. He was the last of the young singers who loved real COUNTRY MUSIC............Had plans to go see him in two weeks here in Texas...........Larry, Please do a repeat show of him soon. For the longest time and for the last 10 to 15 years honestly believe Rhonda Vincent is Miss country she really does a fine job and there's not a whole lot out there her age let alone younger than her that puts on the entertainment that she does Rhonda is excellent

That song, “American Grandstand” should have won two Grammys. One for songwriter of the year, the other for duet of the year! So many great artists are ignored and so many talentless artists get awards. SMH.

Daryle was just setting his benchmark when God called him home. This song just showcased his vocal prowess. Rhonda was smoking as she mopped the floor with every slag who Trashville has tried to force feed us in the last 20 years, everyone.

What a great set of voices! DS was a class all his own. I love that at 10:15 when Daryl sings, Jimmy looks and just grins. Speaks volumes on how great of a talent.
Too bad that "Country" radio no longer promotes this style of music. So sorry to lose not only a voice like Daryle's, but also to lose a fine gentleman too.

Words can't describe how much I love this! Rhonda has done and incredible job on writing this country classic, and the performance is so great! I love both of these great artists and everything they've done together and separately. Too bad Daryle is gone. I hope he can look down and see how much we all love his stuff!

I took my mother to see Rhonda at the Orpheum Theatre in Galesburg, Illinois . This was probably 15 years ago but Rhonda is In a class all her own. I Remember when she was younger and playing the county fair circuit .Boy did she blossom Into great traditional country and Bluegrass musician . Rhonda you keep on keeping on.and maybe we can knock it into a lot of peoples heads. I remember when I was growing up and my mom ,dad my sister and myself would drive from Galesburg, Illinois to the North Georgia Mountains where my mother grew up and after church service on Sunday everyone would stop by my uncle and aunt's house 🏡 and what ever Instrument you played guitar, 🎸 banjo, mandolin, pedal steel, percussion, keyboards , washboard and yes I said washboard.Any self Respecting bluegrass music 🎶 had somebody playing a washboard. To me the last traditional country artists on commercial country radio stations was George Straight. I can't listen to any commercial country stations it just is not real country music 🎶. So for now Peace Out and God Bless.andRhonda don't stop doing what your doing.
Everyone back home in Cairo are just devastated by the news. Daryle was a torch bearer for traditional country music. It was Daryle who helped fill the void when Keith Whitley tragically died too soon. Hopefully someone will do the same for Daryle.

My Dad and I reunited after years of separation on the count my mother lied about us being related. I spent a life time away from my father. Turns out I sing write county music and my played I’m Austin for so many years. Now my Dad turned me on to this beautiful music ..I’m speechless, I can only say country music runs in the blood.
