kijm brooks I can't believe that for some inexplicable reason, I never knew that P!nk did a cover of this song. And you're absolutely right! A couple of spitfires on stage, the both of them. If it were in any way possible to have Freddie back and be able to see them on stage performing together I would give my left arm for it. But knowing that will never happen, I'll just have to be patient and wait til my passing so that I can see them performing in that big stadium in the sky {guess I should start believing in Heaven again, huh? Lol}
Amen!!! Exactly what I said!! Only entertainer that I feel does a real tribute to other artists and can truly sing ANYTHING!! She is the only one that can do Queen, Aerosmith, and many others and sounds incredible doing it!!
I seriously don't think anyone gives her backup singers enough credit because they're phenomenal, too. She didn't even look nervous?? I don't understand. Okay!!! GO P!NK!!!
Bette Midler, who Pink is a Huge Fan of, had her backup singers and at least 3 went on (Due to The Divine Miss M) have gone on to be somewhat successful solo artists. One being Melissa Manchester. Katy Sagal (Peggy Bundy who can sing her butt off), & during an impromptu intermission Bette Midler told her Piano Player to fill in for 15-20 minutes. That Pianist is Barry Manilow..
They’re a choir from the celestial heaven, only MC got a choir like hers and most of the time MC uses gospel choir which is always perfect PINK is an artist in her own lane she has always been
She is not Freddie, and the band is not Queen, but I have never heard anyone who has nailed it as well as she did.Queen still the best but she is a very strong #2.
All of you must take into account that Freddie and Queen always rejected the idea of using additional musicians in live concerts. They never thought of the idea of using backing vocals in addition of their own. They wanted to show their unique own power. For this reason they never attempted the full choral intermezzo which they considered as a temporal transition into a full operatic environment outside pop ando rock world. So in that sense. It is beyond comparison if this or any other version which includes live versions of that intermezzo is matched or not. Pink here includes an army or musicians. So no comparison. Her job is great, period.
Roberto Suárez I do not care about the musicians playing.I am commenting on the job that she does to sing the song.Few people can cover a song that was a hit by someone else and do a very favorable rendition.Usually they do not turn out well.I have heard many try to do a cover of this song and only Pink has done any justice to it.
David F Which is why she should join Brian May and Roger Taylor and kick Adam Lambert to the curb. Pink can sing these songs good enough all the while not trying to replace Freddie. Lambert is nothing more than a show off who thinks he's the next Freddie. No wonder John Deacon chose to stay away for so long.
Freddie Mercury would have sat up in his grave and given a standing ovation for this performance......Pink is an absolute powerhouse. I saw her sing this live a few years ago. Still gives me chills!!
agreed! They get more credit than any other artist tho. As p!nk always gives her band and dancers a shout out in every concert. She treats them as family, not as employees
I think that the hat looks like the ones he used in 1979 when he started to adopt the 'camp' style. the black and white spandex from the 1976-1978 era and the yellow jacket from the 'Magic Tour' years.
During the Freddie Mercury tribute concert, Robert Plant (Lynyrd Skynyrd), who is also considered to be up there with Freddie in terms of phenomenal vocalists, said that most of the singers had to change the key of the songs Freddie sang to avoid butchering them, because they couldn't flow between registers like Freddie could. Pink nailed the song in its original key. I'm quite impressed by this performance.
NotgreatBOB! Totally true! Also considering she is a female (in music the key usually has to change because male have a different sort of sound than female) pink nailed it! Her backup singers are so good too!
Not being a fan or a follower of Pink, I have to respect her infinitely for this. As she shows complete respect for Freddie's work. This version is very careful in every way. Backing vocals are great. They resemble a full choir so powerfully. And pink's voice was on spot. And her image in that legendary jacket is great. Thank's Pink!!
I am an old rocker and nobody has ever sung this song to my liking other than Freddie...so believe when I say...PINK was bang on and all I can say is WOW..I am not a fan of pop music not even cher or madona..and yes freddie would be proud...fantastic performance
Never thought of Pink as "pop" music. She is a serious hard Rocker---among other things, and I put her alongside Patti Smith in her ability to channel intense female energy into a traditionally male genre of music.
I can't even describe how awesome it is to see someone who is so in love with the music perform it. You can quite literally see on her face, several times, the awe and respect she has for the song and original performer. Stellar performance.
What makes me so happy about this video it's amount of pure joy Pink seems to have! She's having a huge blast, dancing happily, grinning from ear to ear. You can tell how much she adores the song and it's fully connects her with the audience. Yeah Pink you love this song and oh boy can we relate!
There are a lot of (so called) artists / musicians that have murdered this song but Pink and every single member of her band should be applauded for a fantastic performance. A fabulous tribute to the greatest that ever lived.
I grew up when the whole Britney Christina Pink thing happened. I said it then and I’ll say it now - P!NK is literally timeless and can do anything she wants. She is so talented and her voice is simply amazing.

I'm a huge Queen fan and i think Pink is okay but I'll admit it, she killed this. She totally made it her own. Awesome job on a pretty untouchable song.
She's a great artist on her own but what makes this perfect is the fact that she's also a fan. She oozes energy. Many people pay tribute to older artists because "they have to" but something is missing because they don't enjoy what they're doing.
I think the big difference is you can tell Pink is singing this song because she wants to and because she's a self confessed huge fan of Freddie Mercury. It's a tribute. Beyonce clearly had been told to sing the song and had no interest in doing so. I mean there are amoeba on Mars that know the lyrics to BR.
That doesn't take much. Beyonce was a disgrace. She mutilated the lyrics. Pink's tribute was heartfelt and passionate. Her backup singers are phenomenal
She is such a talent. There is not a diverse woman singer who can sing and perform as she. Does anyone else out there think she looks as if she were Elvis Presley's daughter? I know she is not, but she sure has the eyes. and voice. :-)
I absolutely love her back up chorus singers. Both of those ladies have incredible voices and such excitement. They add so much to the show. I'd marry either one in a heartbeat.
It doesn't matter who you, where you are or when ... sing Queen and the crowd will always join it. Brilliant tribute Pink ... What voice and performer.
I had no clue you did this. Thank you Alecia 🌹 PINK. You are the only artist that can perform other artists, better than they can. Any one can see. Any way the wind blows. You are a GIFT! For me. 🌹
As a resident of coastal So. Cal, I've seen Pink (AKA, Alecia Beth Moore) in person occasionally. She and husband Carey have a beautiful home up PCH (Pacific Coast Hwy.) in Santa Barbara County -- north of L.A. Have seen both of them a few times up there - shopping, coffee shops, bike riding, etc. What's great is no one bothers them. Seen her in flats/barfefoot from a few feet away. OMG...she's so tiny in person, 5' - nothing!

But even he has said that he respects Pink and the way she sings, if that is not one of the highest praises I don't know what is. Oh Pink, why oh why did I doubt you?! You blew it out of the water! Not only are you a super fantastic singer but pulling off this song like you did has made me more of a Pink fan. You need to record a rock only record. You have the voice for it
I am Queen fanatic and don't ordinarily like when other people sing their songs but I love Pink and she is amazing! I think she did a beautiful homage to Freddie and in my opinion the best song in the history of rock!
Vh1 played this concert about 4 or 5 years ago. They only played about half of what is on the DVD but I saw enough that made me a P!nk fan. When I saw her performance on Sober and Bohemian Rhapsody, I fell in love with her talent. The very next day I went and bought the DVD that came with a CD of this show. I really enjoyed the whole show. P!nk is definitely an artist that is going to be around for a long time.
I cannot believe I'm saying this, but this rendition by Pink brought me to tears. No doubt, she did this with a total commitment and a deep love in her heart for the song, Queen and Freddie Mercury..I could feel it. BRAVO!!!!
Wow just wow!!! She sounds & looks AMAZING!!! I met her ~ she is as cool and nice as she appears. Pink and Freddie could of definitely collaborated together.
The fact that she did the ENTIRE song and didn't skip Galileo and that entire main operatic part is what makes this even more amazing. There's a lot of people that skip that part when singing this
This is the best cover of Bohemian Rhapsody I've ever heard! I've been a P!nk fan for years and a Queen fan, Can you imagine if Freddie was still with us, what these two incredible powerhouses could have created if they could have ever got in the studio together or just a one off performance! I first saw P!nk in a really small venue in Kings Cross in London, she wasn't really known here at the time but a group of us decided to go after work one night, we were all quite literally blown away, the power in her voice was spine tingling just like Freddies was. Two truly brilliant talents that I just don't think we will see again, not in my lifetime I'm anyway!
@JonasLovato91 Funny you should suggest that today, I Found Panic! at the Disco's cover a couple of days ago! I couldn't agree more! Brendon absolutely kills it!
The pure joy on her face as she sings and dances around the stage interacting with the audience says everything about why this cover of Queen is so good. The only other cover of Bohemian Rhapsody that's on par would be the Muppets.
Everyone is saying that Pink has done a bad job and that Freddy is frowning upon her but I personally think that Freddy would give a standing ovation towards her, she being one of the few who can sing this amazing song with such skill that others do not have. I only know 3 people who can sing this well, Pink, Brandon Urie, and Freddy himself.
No one can ever outdo Freddie and Queen with this song. But dammit, Pink nailed it with the outfit, her voice, and no autotune used. Freddie had to be smiling and applauding from Heaven each time she performed this song.
P!nk has a phantastic voice - I love her, because she is straight, honest, tough, wonderfull, pretty, cool, outstanding, unconventional - well shortly "P!nk". She surprises me everytime- here again. The original song "Bohemian Rhapsody" came out, as I was teenager . I never thought, that i would like a cover-version of this outstanding, inimitable song. But P!nk managed to do equal to Freddie! This is pretty much impressing!!! Love this song, love P!nk (all of here songs), love here crazy breath-taking acrobatic stunts during her concerts. I'm flashed by her enchanting daughter Willow (also singing superb and doing crazy stunts). Her litte "racker" Jameson is a perfect example for beeing unbiased (stay this way!) - and her husband is damm cool. So: only the best can be expected from this "super-hero-family" :-) Hope to see them all and hear P!nk soon live in Germany again !!!! Stay healthy - stay P!nk :-)
in 2018 Dec: this cover is the best ever for bohemian rhapsody and will remain the best and untouchable cover. thank you Pink for the great respect you gave to Queen and Freddie. You are a real artist.
kudos to all the people on stage; not only Pink, but the guitarist, the pianist, the drummer and the backing singers all made a sick cover of an intimidating song.
I think Freddie would have loved Pink! She's an entertainer like he was.... it's in they're heart :)
kijm brooks agree. She's about the theatrical just like he was.
I agree that Freddie would of loved her as well and this cover!

Elton John, Adam Lambert, Marc Martel, and Axl Rose 🔥
One of some! Panic at the disco, Martel...
I seriously don't think anyone gives her backup singers enough credit because they're phenomenal, too. She didn't even look nervous?? I don't understand. Okay!!! GO P!NK!!!

Pink too. But thats a phenomenal job behind.
She didn’t look nervous because she knows she can sing xx

Christine Campbell Well said. This is a lovingly planned and rehearsed tribute, carried off to perfection!
Christine Campbell Freddie what would he do?? I don't think so...
I think Freddie would love P!nk's showmanship and her bona fides
So he would be sitting or standing? O.o
As for the cover, yeah the best, agree :)
you mean she’s a mitochondria
Damn the backup singers deserves a lot of praise.
They killed it

isnt her outfit different pieces of freddies outfits throughout the years?

yeah like the yellow jacket is from wembley stadium
freddie wore everything she had on. I love it.

Amazing cover. She really pulls off Queen and does great justice and tribute to Freddie.

no brian may not easy

Pink is not just another pop princess. She rocks!!
She does a lot of rock songs, mixed with pop.
I'm listening to Queen since I was 7.
Nevet thought I would say this: This cover is amazing.
There are a lot of (so called) artists / musicians that have murdered this song but Pink and every single member of her band should be applauded for a fantastic performance. A fabulous tribute to the greatest that ever lived.
This is the only cover of this song that I can actually approve. Good job!
I grew up when the whole Britney Christina Pink thing happened. I said it then and I’ll say it now - P!NK is literally timeless and can do anything she wants. She is so talented and her voice is simply amazing.
This is a million times better than kanye's.

Clarissa Mae Borja He DARED to touch this?!
Mine would be better than Kanye and I can't sing at all.
Note for note, word for word. Didn't change a thing or try to make it her own. A great tribute to Freddie.

Killer Queen omg my two faves combine
Killer Queen
I would think this would be a tough song to cover but PINK and the band pull it off without a hitch!!
I've just found this and I'm blown away. Pink did this masterpiece proud.
I caught the drumstick she threw to the left hand side of the stage on this night!
If Freddie Mercury was a girl, it would be Pink.

Her backup singers are awesome. Parts of this that Queen didn't even do live were very good!!!
P!nk should do a cover album. (Album of cover songs)
I’m crying. It occurred to me this evening, that Pink might have done this. I love the Internet.
And that Ladies and Gentleman's is how you nail a classic song.
Poor Beyonce and Kanye West.
Japhet Batucan P!nk made good cover
Japhet Batucan agree......
Beyonce and kanye west did terribly and I will die on that hill. Die mad abt it

Beyoncé??? Lol
she sings the way I always wanted to hear that song. ohhh yeah.
This is the greatest performance ever of this song from anybody that's not Freddie Mercury and original band

One of the best performances of the song. The backing vocals were terrific too. ²

Search for Marc martel bohemian rhapsody, so you can have the best cover. I agree this cover is amazing
@@luuk1474 Thanks for the tip! I already know the Marc Martel version, its amazing but P!nk still pips him to the post for me, just.
Finally a good cover of this song 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Everyone is saying that Pink has done a bad job and that Freddy is frowning upon her but I personally think that Freddy would give a standing ovation towards her, she being one of the few who can sing this amazing song with such skill that others do not have. I only know 3 people who can sing this well, Pink, Brandon Urie, and Freddy himself.
Brendon**
I know only one and only - Freddy
Freddie
FREDDIE
Ummmmm......Adam Lambert can nail this song too.
For real !!! She nailed it . Super impressed. I actually love this version. Wow . Can't believe I said that. So good
All the performers, the back up singers, the musicians, Pink, y'all were perfection! Gosh, I'm in loveee
No one can ever outdo Freddie and Queen with this song. But dammit, Pink nailed it with the outfit, her voice, and no autotune used. Freddie had to be smiling and applauding from Heaven each time she performed this song.
This performance sent shivers down my spine...
Pink did justice to this song and also because she's a rockstar
She is great! Freddie must be proud with this amazing version
Respectfully done and loved her 'Freddie' outfit. Well done Pink.
Outfit courtesy of Bob Mackey. The real deal.
the greatest cover of bohemian rhapsody ever.
very good cover. Queen will never be forgotten with classics like this... Freddie was a one off! RIP mr mercury.
She has real power in her voice. When she sang white rabbit I was stunned how good it was. She really is awsome.
Pink did this cover justice, and even gives Freddie's costumes on concerts tease with the yellow jacket and black-and-white pants.
in 2018 Dec: this cover is the best ever for bohemian rhapsody and will remain the best and untouchable cover.
thank you Pink for the great respect you gave to Queen and Freddie. You are a real artist.
kudos to all the people on stage; not only Pink, but the guitarist, the pianist, the drummer and the backing singers all made a sick cover of an intimidating song.
Wow!!!!!! Respect PINk!!!!
