Innovative Marine is a company you can trust. Like you said, it could’ve been in transport where the palette was destroyed. I’ve never heard of their tanks leaking as well. I’ve searched. Hope you get things sorted out and back running. 💯💯💯 Can’t wait for your reboot
thx. I'm temped to set up the tank they sent me since it is free. A custom tank is over 10k, waterbox 6-7k. This was my 2nd tank leak (1st was redsea 425 XL). I feel cursed.
@@tritonpower3641 Set it up. You have all that beautiful coral and the fact they took care of you like that was amazing. Let me know, I will get broke one. 😉
Terrible bro. Im sorry. I would just use the replacement. Their tanks seem to have good reliability. I think it would be a good bet that the next one should be problem free, and will save you a boat load.
I would go with the replacement tank. If you want to be super sure, pay someone to install another glass brace in addition to armored seams (these can be installed after the tank has been built). That way you will save a lot of money
I mean sounds pretty clear it was damaged in shipping. Sorry that happened tho. I have their 100g ext and been going strong for like 17 months. Good luck!
The tanks are generally extremely well made. They don’t skimp on craftsmanship, silicone, or glass thickness. The overflow boxes are engineered to match the size of the tank. The tank is also eurobraced. I know you are the unlucky one but I would definitely trust the replacement tank.
Hey man I’m glad they sent you a replacement. I have the innovative marine 112 EXT I’m currently working on the plumbing for. Definitely use the new tank. Would love to see how you plumb it!!!
Damn man, sorry to hear about this! You’ll bounce back better than ever though! I wouldn’t worry about the new tank, it’s a sweet tank. Don’t bother buying another. Get this thing set back and enjoy it again!
Even Andrew Sandler had a few tanks blow seams, and a 900 drop off tank cracked during delivery due to inadequate packaging. You’re lucky you had time to save the fish and lps-sps are HARD to save in this situation and great that you did save those nice sps frags/mini colonies. Nice work and setup that new replacement monster!
Sorry for your losses. Must be super frustrating. Man, I freaked out for you since I have the 170 ext. I went with that to replace my Red Sea thinking a eurobraced tank would be much more reliable. Sure hope yours is a fluke, but this vid may make me bit a second water on floor sensor
No. I thought they may want it to inspect it. I will probably have to pay someone to get this 600# beast out of my house. I did not have to pay shipping for the new tank.
Sorry to hear about the leak. Commendable that you seem to remain very calm about the whole thing.

One of my prior videos shows the plumbing.
You should show how you plumb your replacement tank unless your going to just use the plumbing that was on your original 200 EXT
@@Mark43613 I plugged in the old plumbing. I will show the plumbing in detail in the video tonight.
Awesome. Going to watch it.

That is what I am planning.

Thx. Hopefully will set it up soon.
Had the same with loosing siphon on one of the tube. I got the 1-1/4 U-Tube and just run single works better than the two.
Trust innovative marine. Definitely a shipping problem. Their tanks are solid
Rather unfortunate circumstance, quite the pickle, to entrust or consider other options. Follow your gut, wishing you well fellow reefer.
I would trust the new tank.

As far as I can tell mine is the only IM large tank to leak. That should be a good sign.
Man that sucks to be honest that’s a hard one
RAD or Reef Aquarium Designs said they once had a worm that burrowed into the silicone and caused a pinhole leak.
that makes me nervous about another non-armored tank. crossing my fingers
Have yet to hear an innovative marine leak. Just wow
so far I'm the only one I've seen in the larger tanks. I just set up the replacement. will post tonight.
did they make you send the old one back? did you have to pay any shipping?

if u cant trust im ,dont no were u go from there
wait is this the second tank leak??????
I think I would’ve cried.
Do you still have that IM 200? Can I take it?
trash guys took it. sorry
I have another one if you want it. Same tank. Very slow leak from front right corner.
@@tritonpower3641I was thinking of getting this tank. It happened twice?
