The idea of a skin sensitivity to salt water is foreign to me since salt water is stored in the skin and it’s a natural anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial. Now you’ve got me really curious what kind of a reaction could be going on there. I’ll assume the beach isn’t your favorite vacation destination.
@@Danimalpm1 for me a lot of the issue is coral toxins in the water. The biggest issue I get is dry cracked fingers from exposure to the saltwater in my tanks. Occasionally I will get itchy rashes on my fingers or arms if I’m directly handling corals. Hammers, frogspawns, zoanthids and bubbles tips seem to be the worst for this in my case.
@@RedGalaxyFishbone my phosphate is constantly super low. .02-.03 so if it leaches any it won’t be a big deal. Also, all this rock was bleached, soaked and air dried as well to clean off any organics.
@@moereefer thanks! I’m in Maine but I travel to a lot of the north east coral shows. I was just at the NJ frag fest a couple weekends ago helping out with the Son & Sand/ Aussie Aquariums booths. I may have some frags at Frag Farmers Market in CT at the beginning of march and then again at reefapalooza NY. Otherwise all my corals go to a couple of our local fish stores to help support them and our local hobby.
Awesome scape mate I'm subscribing !!
@@AussieReeferAnton thanks, I really appreciate the kind words!
Sweet setup dude! ✅
Thank you! It’s a work in progress. Going through a bit of an ugly phase with some cyano but corals are still growing like crazy.
Very good looking end result 🙌🏻👏🏻👌🏻
Thanks! It’s definitely a work in progress.

Are you not anxious for your rock to leach phosphates? Or will you counter it?😊
