Honestly, now is the right time for a Battle Network remake for the Nintendo Switch. The shape of the Switch is close to the shape of the P.E.T. and they can even take creative liberties to further make it resemble like the Switch.

Tim Toborne Not even a remake. I'd just buy a 3DS port of the series. Maybe re-add in the Boktai stuff and add in some Star Force stuff, remix the music/touch up the graphics and call it good. :3

Man BN 6 was so easy compared to the other games in the series.. Dark Protoman from 5 and Bass from 5 and 4 were so much harder than 6's versions of Protoman and Bass. I mean GOD BassMachineGun was such a pain in the ass to deal with
BlahBlah Blargh I completely agree. The latter games, though the mechanics were much more refined and made better than the first three games (Examples of such being the style change system, which was completely randomised based on both your playstyle and preferred elemental chips in BN 3 against the DoubleSoul, Chaos Unison and LinkCross systems that I truly considered rather boring mandatory powerups in 4,5 & 6 and the back ranks changing from V1-V4 to EX, SP, etc.) were much more...I want to say dumbed down for people who had no true background in the series, either that or made more streamlined and basic. I got into the MMBN series when BN 3 was released, and BN3 Blue was my gateway drug to the series. As much as I loved that game (I still have my GBA cartridge copy) the boss battles would have caused me to go bald from stress if I wasn't so young when I got into the game! The battle with Bass.EXE in BN3 compared to BN5 or BN6 is like comparing Night and Day, or even Monster Energy to Green Tea! One is easy to handle for the masses whereas if your not careful with the other it can kill you quite easily.

But of course, there's the OP chip in Blue version.. Folder Backup. You never lose XD
Nevertheless, Bubbleman and Drillman fucked my life over and over and over.
And Bass in BN 4 and 5 you always had to have Blinder or Sanctuary + Aura or else it pretty much meant instant death for you when he shot the Machine Gun. Apparently that move IS dodgable, but I never figured out how.

Let's be completely clear...if you somehow manage to get the two Cybeast Giga Chips...either through normal means or by hacking...DO NOT USE THEM...EVER...they CAN and WILL crash the game and corrupt your save file...

I feel I should also mention that I was using an emulator. But the Cybeast chips DO NOT WORK. I managed to get the Gregar chip in my actual physical copy years ago...I used it once...ONCE. That was the worst mistake ever. It's like it's fucking cursed. It basically simulated a power loss, like the batteries went dead. Screen went blank and power light went off, even though the switch was on...and I had literally JUST replaced the batteries. I switched it to off, and then turned it back on...and after the GBA splash screen...I get something that looks like a fucking Debug screen. (i.e. Lots of garbled numbers and pixels.) Fucking did that every time after. It basically destroyed the game.

Yamata no orochi Smith SP chip attack power depends on how quick you defeat the SP navi. You get maximum attack power if you defeat them in less than 10 seconds.

What is that prgAdvance thing and how can i do it myself?
Program advances are a set of chips that, when selected in the proper order in battle, combine to make one big attack. Example, a sword, widesword, and longsword makes a lifesword. You might say, "This is OP!" Sort of. In most of the games, you can only use each advance once per battle. Yo.u also have to have 3 very specific chips all in your hand. You can usually find a list of these online. Remember that there are different ones for each game.
***** It's that way in all the games, though, since the minimum number of chips in an advance is 3 and you can only take 5 per turn

It's a PvP only chip. Using the chip will laid as a trap. If the enemy player uses a Navi chip, it will backfire. As the Navi chip will now use against the enemy player.

its possible. just not worth the effort. in the japanese version you must get all title screen emblems. this includes the beast link gate emblem which required you to have all 5 link navis maxed from your beast link gate meaning you had to buy a pet toy and all 5 navi chips. and there was also the protoman fz emblem which required you to finish all 35 bbs jobs which wasnt possible unless you had an ereader+ AND GET LUCKY BUYING ALL 10 ecards from booster packs. lastly there was the secret emblem which not only required the OPPOSITE VERSION, but also BOKTAI 3 AND WIRELESS GBA ADAPTORS in order tto crossover battle. see how much buying is involved to essentially 100% this game? crazy. did i do this though? you bet your ass i did but id never do it again.

In Graveyard, there is a door that leads to the dead end. Behind this door is an AttackMAX NaviCust program.
However, in Japanese version BatKey opens a certain door in the uppermost part of Undernet 0.

That was 1,5 years ago, I changed and made it from a scratch several times since that, so it no longer exists. And to be honest, it wasn't the best folder.

That's a special program advance called "Master Cross". It looks cool and it's strong but not very reliable for your chip folder. It's available in both versions.

It is some sort of weirdness in ChargeMan's pattern. Charge shot can somehow stop ChargeMan from rushing, leaving him vulnerable for next attacks. At same time, Vulcan, which can trap boss without SuperArmor in consecutive attack, doesn't stop him o_O

Kwok ching Fong, RV versions of LinkNavis can't be fought legally. The only way to trigger the battle with them is the use of cheat-codes. If I had knew about this one year ago, I would record the boss-run with every single boss of the game (including Falzer LinkNavis) at their hardest "non-buggy" difficulties. As a example, HeatManRV is a fully completed boss, but you can also trigger the battle with HeatManBX, but it's palette is buggy and HP value is same, as a RV's one (2000 HP).
Some of the bugged BX bosses are pretty funny to fight, though. BlastManBX is even slower, than a BlastManV1. His Air Bomber is insanely SLOW: it takes over 10 seconds for him to finish this attack o_O

I only have the level 1 version of the air spin but it is awesome, on a side note I fucking hate Circusman, I can do every other boss without getting hit except him, maybe it's because I emulate at 150% speed.

Yep, I increased the damage of every single Gregar-exclusive SP Mega Chip to its maximum before the boss run.
