I wonder why there are so many haters? Sgcarmart is just explaining the small things that people tend to overlook when buying a car. So that people don't be too materialistic and have their heads in the clouds. I appreciate the video SGcarmart. Kudos to you. Been an avid viewer of your reviews.
Dear sgcarmart, you’re gonna lose all your credibility if you’re gonna be so blatant with promoting the Attrage and Space Star and even telling people that over the past few days you get 20.4km/l without even trying hard. Come on that’s a massive lie.
Benjamin Alexander Chua yes I do. In fact I’ve been driving it for more than 1.5 years. My best record was 23km/l. I know this figure is achievable, but not over a few days of average use like he said and we all know it. If your house is right next to a highway entry and the moment you exit the highway you park your car straightwaway that would have been a believable figure. But average use? Nowhere near at all...
Even though it sounds super-sponsored, but I have to agree with the Living Big idea of Jeremy. Imagine you're a starting entrepreneur that just started his business. Yes, it is earning a small sum of money, starting to gain traction maybe giving some stable profits of a normal paid senior exec per month. You choose to drive this knowing you can afford better cars, you will be able to live bigger than those who went to get their Audi A4 or CLAs. You also have very little risk of seeing your car on the road behind a truck lugging it (if you know what I mean), like some BMWs or some Porsches I see frequently on the expressway. Anyway, I have tested the Space Star before, it does amaze me - maybe because my expectation was too low for it, it can really move from 0 quite well, like the Honda City. I haven't tried it above 65 km/h as I was just test- driving the car at Leng Kee, not sure if it is because it's bad at fast speed and hence the sales lady cunningly asked us to u-turn to go back so soon.
Don't say until like that leh... I think the Attrage is what it is - a great entry point for people who want to have a new car to drive while having other budget considerations. - Jon
Basic cruise control is not overlooked, it's completely redundant in Singapore. Only caters to the rare road trips to Malaysia highways. At the very least have adaptive cruise control, if not don't bother, having basic cruise is a pointless feature
I sm from Malaysia and i own the older attrage, this car really sips fuel, i forgot few times to refuel as it takes forever to run. It takes me 10 days for the next refuel. My serena takes me 4 to 5 days to refuel. A lot of people will comment lack of power amd cannot accelerate fast. IMHO they don't know how to drive CVT car.. To pick up speed, One don't flow the gas pedal to accelerate fast. One need to press the gas pedal and let the car picked up speed. If one floored the pedal, the CVT will kicked down to a lower gear and thus the speed will go down. Its a natural progression of slowly pressing the pedal to build ip speed and gentle press down as the speed build up. The nrt result is quick built up speed with less petrol burnt... The true intent of the inventors design. I prefer CVT smoothness compare to the clunky shifting of 4 AT.
Why didn't the reviewers review about the safety features about this car? I guess they haven't see these cars involved in a crash, where the rear passenger compartment gets crushed up when being rear ended.
Could you do more reviews of continental cars? I get it that most of the Singapore market is catered to Japanese and Korean imports but would certainly appreciate a more balanced portfolio of reviews
Also, I think paid reviews like this detracts from the sgCarMart brand. If I want paid reviews, I can watch the car company’s multi million dollar, carefully choreographed marketing videos rather than your independent videos spouting the same rhetoric but just in a cheaper package with less interesting background (I.e. non descriptive Singapore highway vs the salt lakes of Utah or something)
just wanted to get an overview of the specs and performance of the car rather than some Ted talk about living big with bits of features mentioned haphazardly all over the place and some superficial comparison of the two versions side by side, came out of this video without any improved judgement of the car itself

Just realised I was watching a car review at the end of the video. I thought I’m here to learn how to live big.
The script for this video as well as the komoco motors one just makes me cringe...

Already lost it for me. Theres no honest SG car reviewer
My dad owns the 2020 model..tbh 20km/l is very much achievable under normal driving conditions...more so after the initial 1000km service...

Thanks for your kind comments Zhong Heng!
I can totally hear Jon trashing the car, behind his mask and behind the scenes. LOL.

sgCarMart then u should just review the car as it is. No need to tell people to live big

What's wrong with a paid promotion? It's stated upfront. It's a pretty fun showcase.
Living big is living forever in paradise

I wonder how much Mitsubishi pay your guys to "live big". Lol
Give the team more activities to do! i like to see them exploring the car like this!

They literally said no review tho
Living big "slowly" :)
Paid commercial?

The usual format gives more indepth detail/information about the car. Hope this is not the new style of reviewing.

nice cars, great video
Can’t help laughing, living big not living in a Milo tin with 4 wheels 😆

You can either choose to review cars or advertise them. Doing both only reduces your credibility
Don't fuel pump in johor,cheapy
I think Perodua is better than these 2 cars. Not really sure though
