I hope on the future we can implement our dragons with the appearance of the old drakes we have collected, such as the wrath frostwyrms or warrior order hall mount
After getting the quest look in your bags for the red renewed proto dragon. Click on it to learn it as a mount. It will be in 'mounts' now so add to favorites, put it in your bar to cast often.

So, mount physics? I mean this just seems like they implemented a new mount riding system. Also, haven’t we had dragons as mounts since the burning crusade?
Yeah, Dragons were a thing for like.. always.
And yeah it basically is a new Riding System, so far it only works with 4 customizable mounts but we will see how its going during/after the expansion!
@@GarroshTV Great vid btw, Garrosh. If the story and content is good in this expansion, I’ll be happy. I just hope they aren’t depending on this “dragon riding” as the new vehicle rather than power windows to the expansion if that makes sense.

Blizzard has increased the Stuff Numbers for Dragonflight by over 50%
Over 50% more prople worked on Dragonflight than on Shadowlands and I think this is a huge relief!

Sorry for being a little salty today, but it's so frustrating trying to learn how to fly. I'm already level 70 (on every class, by doing dungeons) and I still have no idea how to get dragon riding. So I come to this video to figure out how, and it starts at 0:32 by saying "do some quests." Okay, I'll go do some quests, but is there a video online that tells me what I have to do rather than "go do some stuff"? I've spent hours today trying to find videos that explain what I'm supposed to do, and nearly every video says, "go play the game and everything will fall into place." Every Xpac since Draenor has had so much complexity to gain flying (hundreds of quests required to complete) that I've never understood how to gain flying since Pandaria. The only way I've ever flown in zones after Pandaria is when an Xpac becomes so old that flying there becomes automatic. The quest log should automatically tell me EXACTLY what I have to do next to gain flying skill.
You have every class on 70 without questing? Well thats kinda impressive, not gonna lie!
The Main Quests aka the Campaign are shown differently, the Exclamationmark has a little symbol around it, you probably saw it before.
The Questchain starts in the Waking Shores where you first land after taking the Ship/Gunship from Stormwind or Orgrimmar.
Follow the Questchain, which is portrayed differently, as said before and you will have your first flying Mount in like half an Hour.
@@GarroshTV Actually I have 52 characters at level 70, without any questing. (Questing is much slower for levelling than doing TW dungeons.) Although today I did some questing in order to unlock dragonflying. It was frustrating. Now I'm busy getting each of my 52 toons to Valdrakken. I'm sure I'll need that for something. It's taking about 10 minutes per toon getting them to Valdrakken. That will be 520 minutes of work. You have no idea how much time it takes when you are doing the same thing 52 times. It was nowhere near as bad getting flight as it was in previous Xpacs, but it was still 25 times more complex than learning to fly in BC, Wrath, Cata or Pandaria.
@@GarroshTV 10 timewalking dungeons will get you from 60 to 70. What's the name of the quest?
This feeling kind flyining in WOW kind of reminds me of learning how to websling in Spiderman (PS4). It was just fun to travel around, and learn how to swing better and get better speeds. It also makes flying a little more involved and fun.
It reminds me a lot of the old Spyro games tho :)
So i still don't get it... dragon riding can only be done with SPECIFIC mounts?! so you cant use your normal mounts on the dragon islands?!
There are plans to implement the new Riding System on all the flying mounts at some point, but first you can only do it with the specific mounts

In Skytop Observatory and Valdrakken are people you can talk to.
I don‘t have the Name in mind but they can activate it :)

Man this mechanic feels so awful at times yet everyone loves it.

Just makes mining feel so bad, but unlike other zones where you can do it on foot, alot of the zones feel like I'm forced to use the mechanic since evert node is chillin ontop of the huge awful stairs from lotr return of the king, and the ones on the ground actively punish me for using the mechanic.
Where do I get abilities from? Iv got 3 mounts and no abilities pop up in my action bar lvl 70.
Usually you get the new abilities together with the Dragons
Maybe check your Spellbook, there is a Dragonriding Roster, which has all the Abilities :)

It would be really stupid if not and Blizzard would f*ck themselves when getting rid of Dragonriding.
Once the whole Playerbase gets used to Dragonriding there will be so many complaints if its gone someday
So I really think we will keep it :)
blizz confirmed theyre trying to stop taking away the big fun thing from each xpac, so we keep dragonriding and eventually next xpac we can ride them everywhere

In the MMO genre the games have always copied from other Games.
Every Game had one or twi big ideas which were taken everywhere else: Dungeons, Professions, Open World etc.
Taking Ideas and improving on them has never been an Issue. Actually Blizzard has always been on a peak when working with other games Ideas
