I got the arismotor led for 33$ a week ago when it was on sale. It retained 85% light after 27 minutes which is good for my budget. Thanks a bunch my man.
Would love to see other bulbs like the t10, t15 and 1156 as these seem to be common for cargo and reverse lights. And worth mentioning that the weak point at the bottom of the projector tests might not be a bad thing. It actually kinda works as a foreground limiter of sorts
I have changed my car headlights with LED and I'm satisfy with it. but watching your videos for reviewing LED Headlights are awesome. Good Job and greets from Indonesia!
love the inclusion of the thermal camera you're the only reviewer i know that includes this for easily available lights in the US. I ended up getting those Forschures ;) since they have the best output per watt/efficiency. two of our subarus have these really hopeless, PATHETIC headlight connectors that melt more often than the actual bulbs sometimes, after we replaced the harness pairs twice we just started splicing in pigtails from napa and oreiley. btw subaru charges about 45$ for the harness part per side. they don't sell just the connector. after a few months all is well, the 21 watts they pull is way less than the 60 peak watts on the old halo's, connectors aren't getting KFC double crispy so that's nice. oh and they're twice as bright as a bonus 👍♥.
I know I have been saying that i will get to them and I do want to get my hands on them. However, my backlog keeps growing and I am not sure when they heck I can fit them in. I haven't forgotten about them but new stuff comes out all the time and I am trying to stay on top of it. awesome video! I have an MDX 2004 will these LED work in the factory housing? Or do I need to upgrade for it to work? I am looking to move away from the dimmer halogens
I think it did pretty good, it came close and if you look at initial output, it did blow everything else away...at least by a little bit.🤪 It is difficult to start that bright and keep it that bright.
Led bulb become better than stock HID, do you think it would be a good idea to make content with D1S/D2S/D3S bulb. Because a many people are interested to swap stock HID to led but its difficult to have information about output/quality with these bulb I swaped my D3S stock HID to Cool Blue Boost : better but too blue for my tast and bad in wet road, so i tried Osram Nightbraker Laser : better than CCB, color more natural but output isnt too good for HID+old bi xenon. I tried led : better than xenon, output is good and cuttof and beam are the same as stock. Good improvment, but i would like to know how the bulb i installed perform compared to other, so a test with these kind of bulb (stock HID to led) would Interest many people.
I would love to see you do a video for the auxbeam T1s to compare to the new gx to see if they're with the cost difference. However the test I would really like to see is the VLED micro evolutions line. The 2 are my best sellers but I absolutely love vleds and think they are kind of slept on
You mentioned this is at 55w per bulb. Im currently running an H8 halogen bulb at 35w is it safe to use a higher wattage LED? Wiring and fuse Wont have any problems? Thanks
I commend you for such consistent and great reviews. I have a 2008 Acura MDX SUV, yes I am aware that the GTR ULTRA 2 Cool white is more expensive & has a lifetime warranty. Question: for my High Beam Reflectors, do you think that the X-7Seven Apollo LED Headlights would be better than the GTR ULTRA 2 LED'S? (the prices are not an issue, I prefer quality & brightness)! Thank you sir...
You have a decision to make on this one. GTR is better quality but over twice the price, but the Apollo is brighter. I'd say if you drive with your high beams on often and for long periods of time, get the GTR. However, if you use your high beams occasionally, you should be fine with the Apollo.
@@CarLightReviews Thank you so very much, here in North Carolina there are not many street lights and we often drive with our High Beams on to watch out for deer etc... So I may choose the GTR ULTRA cool white. Thanks again, I appreciate your help. God bless.....
Love to see how wide the beam pattern is. I see some LEDs provide very narrow beam compared to Halogens. Also love to see comparison between LEDs vs H9 halogen as many claims that H9 is superior than any LEDs.
Unfortunately, at this time...my garage is only so wide. :) You raise a good point. I hope to be able to fix that in the future. H9 halogen is 10 watts higher than H11 halogen but from what I understand, it results in 25% more light output on average. While I haven't tested them, I don't yet see a halogen H9 can compete with current LED offferings.
@@CarLightReviews thank you very much for what you are doing and the heat measurements are a huge thing for me running them in side my 4Runner low beam housing. Wish you could do the X-7seven Kronos. Looks to have a fan as large as the Apollo but output is in between the Aurora and Apollo so it shouldn't be driven as hard. Could have better retained output and lower operating temps.
Salute bro, your videos have been of great help, but would I really appreciate if you can answer me this doubt as the Fahren Krieges is about 20,000 lumens where as the X-7seven Apollo is 12,000 lumens, so clearly in the test the aurora has more lux, but my doubt is what the lumens represent there? The Krieges reaches more but it’s less bright or how? Thanks a lot!
Don't bother with the published lumens as a guide. The testing can be manipulated in so many ways to make the numbers higher, and every company tests them differently...or not at all and just make up numbers based on calculations. That's why do the tests that I do. :)
Please test the newer X-Rose 225w, X-Black Samurai 250w and X-Ares 240w. I will be very thankful as I didnt find any review on these lights. Much better if H4s are done. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I am unsure if that would work well. I haven't been able to test LED replacements for HID like I have for halogen. I think HID still has a solid place in the market, despite their shortcomings compared to LED. I am planning some HID vs LED tests. What do YOU think? 😁

I do have a suggestion, you mentioned this one has an adjustable collar. I have the Bevinsee v45... (which it looks like they have a v55 now with crazy 150w claims) with an "adjustable" collar, but it only has 2 possible positions. Whereas some collars have a set screw so it can be loosend and put in the correct 9/3 o'clock positions. It may benefit your viewers to see the adjustability with the collars. Either way, great vids. I just realized I wasn't subscribed, so I am now
Thanks for the suggestion. Typically, I show if it comes with a wrench to change the position. I used to mention if it is friction-fit or otherwise, I'll try to out more focus on that in the future. Question: what vehicle do you have that you need to adjust the light output other than vertical (with the emitters at the 9 and 3 position)? I know there are some...but I am unsure which ones specifically.
@Car Light Reviews I have a 2017 charger pursuit projector lens..... my bevinsee bulbs only have 2 positions in the clocking ring. They are 180 degrees, which doesn't really have any effect on the 9/3.... there are some bulbs with an infinite setting just tighten the ring where the 3/9 line up
@@gunsncars469 If you have a projector, you don't typically need to worry about rotating them...just make sure the emitters fire horizontally and you should be good. Apologies if you already know this and I am missing your issue.

@@CarLightReviews Thank you so much, I have every intention of getting some LED headlights, and your reviews are very helpful. Headlight Revolutions have told me what they recommend for my car, but I can't afford those prices. Another reason why your reviews of cheaper bulbs are most helpful. Then I watch another one of your reviews, and I end up doing nothing, again so, now again, I don,t know what to choose (lol). But one day soon, I will make up my mind. Thank you for all your reviews, it seems that LED headlights are legal here in Canada, as far as I can find out anyway, stay safe.
I like your testing methodology and kudos for doing great service but this review was a bit superfluous given that Sergiu Gabor had already top tested the Apollo a long time ago on his YT channel. It would've added more value if you had tested X-7Seven's new flagship the X-Zeus which is also half the price of the Apollo since it's not only sold exclusively in the US (Aliexpress item no. 3256803805488492). But even better would be to move on from testing various incarnations of yesteryear's 3570 chip, with only small variations in performance, and test something with the larger 5570 chip, which is now widely available (such as Aliexpress item no. 3256804514764803 ) and/or based on the the 5585 chip (Aliexpress item no. 3256804057267417). Also the new 360 degree headlights with a thin quartz tube would be interesting to see a test of, if they live up to the hype and price (Aliexpress item no. 3256803813793093). The shortest form of an AliExpress item's URL is: aliexpress dot com slash item slash XXXXXXXXXXX dot html

@Car Light Reviews
I can not get the emitters to point horizontally. One side is about 8/2, and the other is much worse at 7/1. The locking ring is non adjustable on the bevinsee's
@@gunsncars469 That's very strange. Are both Bevinsee units that way?
Hello, can you review the latest x77 apollo?
Yes, I will in an upcoming video. Stay tuned!
😅 good morning I am new to your channel and since I’ve been following you for a few weeks I purchased this item to put in my 18 wheeler. It has no rival but I need some type of instructions on how to aim the light and I’ll give you Channel five thumbs up, this is Rev Jesse CB handle priest . Please do a video for me.
I don't know if 18 wheeler headlight aiming is any different than passenger vehicles, but Form Lighting has a very good page about how to do it: www.formlights.com/blog/how-to-aim-your-led-headlights
This or novsight n60?
Can you do a test on the X7Seven Kronos LED thanks
I will be testing new X-77 lights in the future. Stay tuned!
Your opinion on X7 seven Kronos. advertised as 160 watts and 36000 lumens per pair and also effect of 80 watts led in 55 watts low beam. Thanks
I hope you try novsight n60 pro it's new
And it's 200w so I hope try it
Thanks for this awesome video 😍
You can see all of the details of the Novsight N60 here: th-cam.com/video/3orj2-vp2B8/w-d-xo.html
Boslla N7 140w H11.
i have also contacted Boslla about the 140w bulbs.. looks like a diffent aray of leds so maybe the watt output is real.
can you test X-seven ULTRA?
I will be testing NEW X-77 lights in the near future, stay tuned!
I actually just ordered the X77 ULTRA lol the aurora and Zeus was out of stock for my bulb hehe thanks for the informative vids. Hehe
When do you think the NEW x7 tests come out? And what series do you test? Zeus, apollo plus or ultra maybe?
can you try the keon sondra they are brand from philippines claimed to implement dual beam low and high output the same time hope i will see in the future
It doesn't appear that I can get them in my country, and based on the design of the light, they do not use a "flat" emitter, which often doesn't result of accurate light output.
Is that emitter you called the curve glass around the led?
@@denvdenztv6037 Yes, that is correct. Many also call it a chip.
Is that good sign for a headlights?🎉🎉🎉
How Good wold It be in a Highbeam when It Stays way Cooler
Can you rephrase the question? I am not quite sure what you are asking.
@@CarLightReviews In Short : A Test in the Highbeam's would be Very Interesting.
Explanation Why : LED Upgrade Are Illegal. (With some Excaptions Phillips/Osram in the Right Headlight)
But in the Highbeam's Its a Different Story, you use tham only when There is No Oncuming Traffic so i would Not Hesitate to Put tham in.
IF they are better But only IF
What do i mean by that LED are Different they have a Different Viewing Angle compared to Halogen, allso Alignment is Very important . (Some Chips are way Off so they dont work in Highbeam's You get Darkspots or less Beam Distanz)
Sergej Gabor did a Video about IT Osram vs Bevinsee vs Others, If you want to Watch IT to See what i mean by that .
In simple Just Hold a regular buld to IT.
And the LED should run Cooler because you dont have tham in all the Time.
I Hope i could Explan what i meant.
Have a nice Day
The Morimoto 2stroke 3.0 would be a good one to test
I did test it on my other channel, using slightly different testing methods. th-cam.com/video/0N9419LxeIU/w-d-xo.html
Maybe I should do another test with my current setup and see how it performs? What do you think?
@@CarLightReviews would like to see a new review on them. Need to get led lights very soon
Cual brilla más apollo X7 H4 o las fahren H4 ?
See: carlightreviews.com/headlightspecs
Is it compatible in any motorcyle
I can't speak for ANY motorcycle, but if it can use one of the automotive sizes available, it might be worth a try. You will have to consider placement of the external driver etc.
I think the brightest I found was sngl headlights price is 176 per pair approximately
How did you measure the brightness?
Can you please compare these to the Hikari hyper stars
Already done! See here: th-cam.com/video/rlcwIr-tJW8/w-d-xo.html. Compare the specs between the two here: carlightreviews.com/headlightspecs
@@CarLightReviews oh great I will check it out thank you for your videos they are really helpful I’m ordering a set of apollos based on your review.
About the apollo plus?
Will be testing and reviewing soon!
i wanna use 3 pairs of it on my car
one for fog lights
one for low beam
one for high beam
and i moded my car so when i use high beam it turns on both low and high
so its safe to say when i use my high beam + fog lights and with all the 3 pairs on my car would be a sun xD
How much ? Price .
Click links in description or pinned post.
Try the Apollo Ultra please.
24,000Lm claimed!
Where can this light be found online?
Where is your spreadsheet, please.
In the description of this video, but I'll save you the searching 😁 carlightreviews.com/headlightspecs
@@CarLightReviews Thank you so much, I have every intention of getting some LED headlights, and your reviews are very helpful. Headlight Revolutions have told me what they recommend for my car, but I can't afford those prices. Another reason why your reviews of cheaper bulbs are most helpful. My car is a 1996 Lincoln Town Car, and as I watch all your reviews, I think yes, now I know what I am going to get.
Test the KRONOS please.
I will be testing new X-77 lights in the future. Stay tuned!
PLEASE TEST DIAMOND VISION!!!
WHY????!!! 😆
Can we please have a H4 bulb “shootout”. H4 is always hit or miss.
Please reup link aliexpress. I can not access

Re motorcycle
The shortest form of an AliExpress item's URL is:
aliexpress dot com slash item slash XXXXXXXXXXX dot html
Yes those would be cool to see tested, especially that 220W/pair 80000LM (as if) monsters from Bullvision 👍
I’d like to see CCT and CRI tested as well.
funny because if you ask Luis that work at X-7 i US.. then he says they are fake bulbs.
@@andreknudsne7648 NO ZEUS IS NOT FAKE AT ALL. 1) THEY ARE NOT FLAGSHIP (MORE WATTS DONT NECCESARILY MEANS BETTER LIGHT OUT PUT AND BETTER LED BULB) 2) THEY ARE JUST NOT FOR AMERICAN / CANADIAN MARKET, ZEUS IS ALI EXPRESS EXCLUSIVE PRODUCT, U CAN BUY FROM THERE IF U WANT!
