- This full DIY will show how to install the MST Turbo inlet pipe on the N20 / n26 engine. Replacing that brittle plastic piece that hopefully didn't break on you as this one did.
This video uses the F30 328i as the example, but is applicable to any n20/ n26 engine such as the f22 228i 2 series.

Although I went with a competitor's TIP, I've taken mine off and on so many times for fun and science that I've been able to do it all from above and great reach :P VERY good video, camera angles but one massive thing I'm impressed with: your speech. @@FritzRamos hey just wanted to say I heard that the inlet pipe tends to burst under more boost ( after tuning ) and after many hot and cold cycles it gets brittle . Probably just a way for bmw too get us bac in the stealership too spend money but preventative maintenance is the best maintenance

You should’ve went with the FTP V2 inlet. The FTP inlet has a larger opening when compared to MST.
I thought that was only for the N55. Can you share the link?
Excellent video, i have an issue with my 428i, check engine light code P11C4 , dealer couldn’t fix it, calls for “intake air humidity sensor” I have replaced every single one sensor and still code keeps showing. Any idea?
I installed the gfb diverter and my whole flutter went away any help? N20

Just ordered mine, my stock one broke where the PCV pipe joins… I have cable tied it in for now until my new inlet pipe comes in, hopefully in a few days

I just got my mst intake and turbo inlet along with vrsf upgraded inter cooler and charge pipes. Will I receive any coding errors after installation . Ty

Hey can you help me I just went on boot stage 2 with my n20 and it was working good for a few weeks then multiple misfires appeared, I just change my spark plugs like 4 weeks from now and i don’t know to fix it.
Coils would be my next guess
If not coils as Fritz mentioned, did you gap your spark plugs down, I think around the range of 0.022" for stage 2. Stock is 0.030-0.032"?
