I purchased this drive and it's really great! The drive is a USB SSD which is really fast. It's truly plug and play all I've done is changed a few preferences like putting the logos instead of boxart in Launchbox. I'm very pleased, thank you!

Amazing setup, although I personally grew up in the Dynamo Showcase Pedestal era, so it feels weird to me to shoot down in an upright setup. I'm already used to to shoot straight in pedestal setups instead.
That said, this is already great because you have everything in one machine, except the pinball, and shmups setup.
In terms of favorite light gun games, yeah, Sega and Namco were the best, specially Sega.
If I can have all Sega/Namco/Konami arcade light gun games, that's already good enough for me. I wouldn't need any others.

This looks great. How large of a HD is this collection? Also, will Patreon Teknoparrot games work right out of the box, or must you become a patreon member separately?
This comes in an external 512GB SSD. The Patreon games are in there and configured, but the Teknoparrot emulator will not start the games without a valid Patreon key.

@Dragon's Red I've got my own reason why I'm holding out. My current build has over 100,000 games, so it's not the sheer number I'm focusing on. It's just hoping to see more games from the more recent consoles in his build and waiting for that because there's no way to update short of paying shipping and whatever upgrade fee to get that done.

So if I understood you correctly, you don't recommend integrating light gun shooting games into regular big box arcade systems? Is it because of the intricacies of the configuration that causes clashes with other devices? Or do you think with enough attention to detail, a megacade can do everything without a hitch?
Oh, I've incorporated this into my 16TB drive which runs on my Megacade as well. I've just split out the light guns into their own drive to keep costs down and a more focused product.

I wanted to say that Jasen is a great guy, and has put an enourmous amount of effort into his software set-up and support. No regrets here at all, an easy recommend. I had no idea there were this many fun lightgun games, so many systems supporting them, plus it was nice to walk down memory lane for titles I played in the arcade when video-based arcade lightgun games were keen. Some of the newer lightgun games are total eye-candy and EXTREME fun play.

Is there a camera upgrade for the sinden guns? For better accuracy for the shooting and maybe some light filtering film might help with blocking daylight on the lens might help?
I haven't seen one. This is why I prefer the GUN4IR lightguns as they aren't affected by room lighting conditions and are consistently more accurate.
Im womdering if a bigger collections could be made so we can have this out of the box plus other genres?

Just wondering, am I purchasing a plug and play drive with the roms for a pc bases system? Or am I purchasing just a build (similar to emulec, batocera ect.) to allow the light guns work? I have a ultimate legends, a1up, retropie builds and also a plug and play 2tb Kinhank with batocera. Is it similar to the KInhank just with your own coding? Sorry for what seems like dumb questions but I am interested and lost. Pretty awesome looking!

looks good, for wii mote and nunchuk which is what i use only for dtrive i play/working on . i use touchmote and bluetooth on pc. once set up works perfect. sega cd has good gun games like bug blasters the exterminators . didnt see corpse killer on list thats a must have. what emulator is used for space pirates by American Laser. mine does everything but reload weapon

Yes, all of the light guns functionally is also on my 16TB drive.

Love my sindens lol I had to take the recoil out of 1 though, they are too heavy, really nice and light without it. I just keep 1 with 1 without. If company I don't mind using the lighter one lol hurts my wrist after awhile with recoil.

It does, since theirs are based off of Aimtrack lightguns from Ultimarc

Awesome creation, ive been struggling with getting my sindens working on coinops but its very buggy. Would i be able to add games to this as they come out in future, like say TeknoParrot? Also how do the games like Wii "Big game hunter" work when they require a nunchuck to move? Very interested on purchasing. thanks

Sorry for the inquiry but I'm not the biggest tech head. By the way on the bright side I'm very familiar with various gaming emulators and know how to run them via bios, cores, rom files. Just for clarity is this ultimate drive compatible wit Mac & PC? Right? And if I buy one of the light guns you mentioned I can play these games just by plugging them in & calibrating my aim?

Great build. But how is it autoconfiged especially for sindens? A customer may buy your drive and your config files could be set for a different sinden camera id than what their guns are? (B,c,d etc)?
I wrote code that auto configured the Sinden's up to the calibration part which is needed by the customer.
@@IntegrumRetro Hey sounds really cool. So, lets say the customer plugs in 2 new sindens which may have different camera ID's than your build (really likely). You are saying Mame, Demulshooter, and everything auto see's the ID's of the new gun camera ID's and updates the config files all automatically? blimey
@@Flo0die Yes, that is correct. My tool reconfigures the emulator before each game start as it checks every time to see if new devices were added/removed.

Did you have the size of your TV set properly for sinden? i used your sinden setup video to set mine and i posted a video of pinpoint accuracy deer hunter Steam. i really think you should also showcase that game. I mean just look at how accurate my shots were no crosshair and no curser.
No, I was using this GUN on my personal machine during configuration and forgot to recalibrate when I moved it to the arcade. All good, under the right conditions once calibrated they work fantastic.
How about AE light guns? Plug and play for those as well?
Yes. I precoded it for their hardware IDs as they function very similarly to Aimtrak. I'm expecting to receive my AE guns soon.
Have you ever tried 4 player light gun games with all 4 guns to work? Or even 4 wiimotes? Or 2 wiimotes and 2 other light guns?
No, since 99% of the games are 2 player or less, I limit the number of light guns to 2. I needed to make it predictable.

The buttons do act as the pedal. I have configured the default pedal to the letter "L" if you have a pedal.

What kind of PC hardware is required to push this drive?
Intel 10th generation or better. Nvidia GTX 1650, 2000 series or anything in the RX series. Running Windows 10 or 11
For PS3 games (DeadStorm Pirates!), or any game that is only working with one gun, can you play one person with a light gun and one with a controller?

This requires a 10th generation or better Intel CPU. THe model will start with 10, 11, 12 or 13. Also a dedicted graphics card such as an Nivdia GTX 1650, 2000 series or anything in the RTX series.

I’m not showing white bezel for sinden. Is this a Wii mote or gun4ir build?
This build supports GUN4IR, Sinden and Aimtrack. My software auto detects if you have a Sinden light gun plugged in and puts up a border if so.

You just need to calibrate your lightguns. I also include an install folder of common driver software you might need, but other than that, you don't do anything with configuring the emulators.

The single device limitation on Retroarch is the reason I don't use it. You have to have a different instance of Retroarch for almost every "setup" you want. I rather use other emulators that have more versatility and ease in setting up how I play them than to have the fancy shaders.
Single device limitation? It auto detects most any dinput or xinput device and you can use joystick keyboard commands at the same time, plus you can assign multiple devices to the same port/player.

Unfortunately no. It looks like the tabletop runs on a raspberry pi and my build is designed for Windows 10 or higher.

Very impressive, Jasen! :-) I’m thinking of buying a shooter-arcade from Xtreme Gaming Cabinets! I know they’re using your drive and that you guys have a partnership going, which is awesome. But I’m confused about one thing! Say I buy a shooter-cabinet from Xtreme Gaming, fully equipped with two Gun4IR lightguns, won’t I then be able to play all 270+ games on the drive with only the Gun4IR lightguns? Cause it sounds like one needs to have all the different lightguns out there, if one wants to be able to play all the different games???
The drive auto configures the emulators for GUN4IR, Aimtrack, Sinden and Retroshooter lightguns.

What is the preferred specs to run some of the higher emulation like ps3? Are wii guns also plug in play? The current drive I have which has wii games are rarely playable because the sinden doesn't recognize nun chucks.
One of the other gripes i have with my current drive is the high scores don't save, playing the games are great but if you don't have a reason to come back what's the point. Could your drive save high scores?
I also prefer to use a pedal on all time crisis games, for 5 i have a 2 pedal device which I have yet been able to make use of the game but wonder if you would know how to set up?
Do you have a time crisis zone with fog removed and auto fire enabled, this game has these issues on my drive. Wondering if you experienced it and were you able to fix it?
Do you have a working target terror rom or just the wii verison? The current arcade rom has emulation issues and wondered if you seen it also and your thoughts.

Have you tried the AE guns yet?
I haven't tried them personally, but a few of my customers who have AE lightguns say they work perfect with the drive. Waiting to receive my personal set of AE guns though.
will this work with the Pandora RetroShooter guns?
No, as this required a dedicated Windows PC to run this.
Works with the RetroShooter Guns and their PC Hub (and a PC), not with the Pandora Box itself.

Yes, .tool auto configures the mamehooker ini files with the com ports of the lightguns ensuring even if the ports change the configuration files will always be up to date.
Time Crisis didn't come out on the original Xbox
True, I was called out on that flub. This was Virtua cop 3 which has that time crisis feel.

That looped background generic music is unnecessary and annoying after a while. Otherwise something interesting as I've just ordered my first Sinden
Can you use a wiimote as a lightgun?
Currently this only supports, GUN4IR, Aimtrack, Sinden and AE Lightguns.

Me neither, I hate having to modify every single game to accommodate the Sinden's. That's why I use GUN4IR personally.

Yikes man your using vertical simulated scan lines when you need to use horizontal it looks way better and more accurate. I believe now they actually have vertical and horizontal combined lightly. There are better shaders as you call them.
Are you seeing vertical in all the games. Or just some?
