How do you map windows games that are not from steam? Those games work with ximput, since with a keyboard I could only play 1 player. Do you use any external program like xpadder or joytokey? I have an ipac-2 and I'm still trying to figure out how to map the windows games.

@@IntegrumRetro Nice, I had been looking for similar programs but I was not completely convinced, especially when entering and exiting the game. For that I have read, is it necessary to use autohotkey or is it not necessary?
@@GMRGE No, you can have it launch using the "Additional Apps" feature of Launchbox and bind a key for it to close, like ESC

Do these games work with MameHooker?
Yes, .tool auto configures the mamehooker ini files with the com ports of the lightguns ensuring even if the ports change the configuration files will always be up to date.
How do you toggle the bezels for each game like that? I've never seen multiple bezels per game before
RetroArch has a hotkey to do that, but you also have to put the bezels in the various overlay directories so when you press the hotkey it cycles through the available shaders.
I tried doing a cab during COVID and this stuff is where I kinda hit a wall. This is soooooo so helpful!! Thank you

Yes, absolutely. Anything capable of HD resolution or higher.
can your drive be powered by the steam deck? or what specs will i need to run it?
Requires a 10th generation or better Intel CPU. Model will start with 10, 11, 12 or 13. Dedicated graphics card as well. Nvidia GTX 1650, 2000 series or anything in the RTX series.
You didn't take the time to take a jab at Aimtrak and Wiimote/Dolphin bar for inaccuracy.

@@IntegrumRetro The Sinden and Gun4ir made the Aimtrak and wiimote (For those who can put the money down for a proper PC lightgun controller) obsolete. I use a wiimote with dolphin bar sometimes cause I already have a wiimote and gun attachment, and the Sinden and Gun4ir are out of my budget at the moment. I can imagine the wiimote can be more accurate if the sensor bar was bigger or adjustable like the Guncon 3. Also, It would be: "or are you tired of guns with poor accuracy?" for the wiimote or aimtrack.
I used Demulshooter to patch, but can’t seem to get the controls to work. The buttons on my Sinden don’t work after patched. Do you have a AHK script or batch file to keep Demulshooter running while using RPCS3-gun to run the games?

It didn't work for me, the error still appears even when I play in rcsps3
Be sure you are downloading the patch and putting it in the proper place. I wanted to show how to recreate the error every time so you can see the fix. You can also do this with a fresh install of the supported version of RPCS3 as these games do not use the public version, these are modified specific to the Namco357 games

What emulator are you using for the games?
Thanks for the video! I still can't figure this out. I run the patch but the crosshairs stay stuck in the upper left corner. I somehow managed to fix Dark Escape 4d which runs great now on Sinden (doesn't work with Aimtrak), but I don't know for the life of me what I did. I'd love to know if you had any ideas.
Check that Demulshooter is running and connected since that is the requirement for the game to work with lightguns

Amazing video. Wish I had found this earlier as I struggled through trying to figure out mapping my arcade stick to mame and other systems. I’m currently playing around with FB Neo . The odd thing there is doing exactly what you have done set things up nicely with buttons 123 for most games that use one two or three buttons, but the order on fighting games is mixed up. Do you have any experience using FB neo?
I use FBNeo to upscale the vector games, but you can also do per game overrides to adjust any button layout discrepancies.

Does your drive support the new MX24 machine gun from retro shooter?
It does. They have the same hardware ID's as the handguns so we're good.

I like this project. I've done a few myself just with not so many games. Only 200 of the best arcade games and 20 games of of the best consoles. With only 8 of the best consoles in history. I went for quality over quantity.

14:30 I can't understand for the life of me why you would want your ABC & XYZ flipped upside down top to bottom on your arcade panel for sega 6 button. That doesnt seem very purist to me tbh.. I totally don't understand why you would want to set up your arcade panel button assignments in retroarch different than the default retroarch virtual gamepad, which has the buttons laid out like a super nintendo controller. Why is mame set up backwards from all the other emulators controls in retroarch? (Fyi, my arcade panel is portabke abd switches out with real game controllers using usb adapters, so i need everything to jive together button wise. Consoles and arcade.)
