I learned about a really nice sander for 3D prints from a different TH-camr. It's is sold to sand foot calluses and it's just called a foot sander. I found it on Amazon. I put velcro on the disk so I could use automotive sanding disks so I could get a wider variety of gits. It's slow speed to begin with and it has a variable speed controller so you can really slow it down.
I HATE sanding PLA. My personal hell is an eternity of sanding PLA. The sound, the smell, the feel…it just offends all my senses.Just watching you do it is upsetting…😂😂😂
🤣🤣I sooooo feel that. I need to try out resin smoothing and see how that works. My hand is aching just thinking about the sanding on the battle droid.🤣
Sure! That's cool you are going to make a head! The Beige is: amzn.to/3XdI0ER This is the primer: amzn.to/3z6wTG0 And this is my favorite Chrome: amzn.to/3Xu0xy3 This is the masking I used: amzn.to/3Z7JfYP
I’m not sure, but I think you got the size wrong. You have to switch them to the other side look at the documentation you got it reversed you’re gonna have to separate it because I remember going through that and it was a mistake.
Thanks so much! No problem. The masking fluid was Liquitex Masking Fluid in a 4oz bottle. The tan color is Montana Gold, Sahara Beige spray paint, it seems like what a lot of people are using.
Thanks some much!!!! I used less than 1 chrome paint can since I was just spraying it in random spots that I thought might be an area where it would chip. This is a link to the speaker I used on Amazon: I am trying to make a mouse droid with the same speakers. amzn.to/3Yr8GTu
Good luck on your build. It is totally worth it. Here is the link on Amazon, but there are many variations on this: www.amazon.com/Microsound-Activated-Reminder-Welcome-Supermarket/dp/B07FCHRH8P
Hi. I just kind of use the default. I am no expert on settings. I just used the recommend wall thickness and infill percentage that are in the Droid Division instructions. Like thicker walls and higher infill (15-20%) for smaller joints and then reducing infill on the head so it does not get too top heavy (5%).
How much much would you charge to make again the... 3dprint Derjarik Table... parts with out assembly plus shipping? I'm seting up star wars room. An it missing some StarWars. Props

@@thelegendarygalaxy17excellent ty. One other question. Any reason you went with white instead of gray or black. Wouldn't the latter be easier to see sanding lines etc.
@@thelegendarygalaxy17 Do you know offhand, for instance, the rustoleum spray you sprayed, i assume you did that coat outdoors or well ventilated, but, spray cans shouldnt be done in a basement even with an "airbrush" style booth that is vented?
Hello. I have a question - what printer did you use to print the largest, most voluminous parts? And secondly, what printing area would the printer be recommended for to implement such a robot? I've been wanting to create something similar for a long time.
@@thelegendarygalaxy17 Thanks 🙏 👍 I'm gradually learning 3D printing and thinking about how to start creating b1. Roger Roger! The torso print alone is commendable. Amazing build from start to finish, I really enjoyed watching.
Thanks! and thanks for watching!!!!
Great results. He looks amazing
Thanks so much!!!
Wow, what an incredible build. Thanks for showing the process, I love what you did with the chrome chipping. Awesome video.

Absolutely stunning work here. If you don’t receive a job offer from Disney, I will be quite shocked!
