Tape reels was a good 14” + diameter would made a deadly frisbee’s. Mayoraks himself would arrested the whole classroom for a deadly weapon I highly suspect
Show em how to once, then let em struggle. Give them a set of big ones like these then a set of low profiles, and the worst of all try and get some packer gangs, it's absolute torcher. Then he will be mounting each tire faster than the old heads 😂
I was always told to add a little blinker fluid for the turn signals & if you choose the right side blinker fluid it would work better than the left side blinker fluid. Just a little hack from around the way. Good luck ya'll!

All I remember is how happy I was to get it half on, just to find out it has to go on from the front. It's so obvious now, so dumb.

I had worked at a rim shop and a tire shop and on both occasions. There were several times the power was out and we still had to get the job done. I'm glad the struggle wasn't like this.

Yep, I've had quite a few customers come in with new tires they just busted the bead on cause they tried to mount the tire themselves. Pay a shop $50 to do it, so you dont have to pay for another tire.
I just had to take mine to a shop because I moved and haven’t mounted my tire changer in the garage yet and the tire shop destroyed the bead on my winter tire. I trust myself more than some kid making minimum wage.

It does when you mount it in a similar fashion to a standard rim bar the first sidewall into the drop center then bar the same sidewall on past the 2nd rim flange

Even with the hoist they can have retracted the top bar and slide the tire further under and have more leverage, less sidewall stretch and less damage to the hoist. But again a couple tire spoons would've been easier
Can anyone explain why they put the wheel in perpendicular and then rotated it 90 degrees instead of, yknow, the usual way? I used to remove and fit my own tyres for drifting (mostly by hand) and it never involved this much fucking about.
@user-od8cn5zx2x Bead locks have been around for a very, very long time they started in the sprint cars and then late models and the off-road super trucks and then rally and most Bead Locks today on atvs and street vehicles are fake and just for looks. I have put more Bead locks on sprint cars than I can even count.

zero percent chance that lift boom bent from this. I double boomed mine with the second boom at full extension to lift a overweight load so much that I had to put a few hundred pounds of weight on the back of the cherry picker just to keep it from flipping and still didnt bend the arm even though the entire boom was bowing

I had to do 20 of them Friday. 11R 24.5s on Alcoas with half the tools you should have and I'm still in pain🤣
