My ex-wife was a fellow theatre major at Western Michigan when Marin was there in the early 80s. She had nothing but good things to say about Marin as a person.
I’ve tried for years to find a bootleg- thank you so much!! I’ve never been able to watch this show without crying. I love listening to the music regularly but can only watch scenes occasionally as it just breaks my heart to see Coalhouse and Sarah not get the happy ending they deserve. All happy tears when Coalhouse Jr. runs out at the end though!

They were both magnificent. The whole cast was, but the voices and plot line of their characters were heartbreakingly beautiful.
