Amazing !!! I begin training in October to volonteer at a local hospice society. I think Iam going to head the same route as both you ladies ..much respect and blessings!!
Oh my goodness, this just shows how much compassionate end of life care is so damn important. I can’t wait to finally get into this field and support people in this way.
Beautiful. I think a death doula may be an emerging career for people. It can be comforting to have a companion a dying person can talk to about death and their feelings. I know there are birth doula’s so why not death doula’s?
I was there when my older sister took her last breath at 50. My other sister, her daughter, my cousin and all were all in the room stressing all day and 🪽Michele🪽couldn’t talk but she was stressed.. we all sat around her and just started reminiscing, laughing and crying.. she relaxed and knew we would be ok and one last breath. 🪽Michele Renee Metevia🪽🧡I have realized I have the gift of a death doula.
Well gee…I could’ve watched a whole hour of this! So beautifully done. Rest In Peace & thank you for sharing your journey with us to those shown in this doc💗🕊
I am contemplating this as a career path. I volunteered in a Hospice center for a bit. I witnessed my dads passing f and it left me wishing for ‘more’ for everyone in his passing .. dealing with family members can be tense in these times .. I would love to help others in this meaningful way to be the one looking out for the greater good .. I found a free training - I’m going to explore it … see if it resonates.
After helping my mother at her end I didn't know there was a way to help people without being a medical professional or religious. I hope I can help more people.
Absolutely soul touching and more deeply beautiful than I can describe in words💕🙏being a clairvoyant Empath and being able to see hearts and FEEL hearts I feel so drawn to this...💕🙏what a gift to be able to be here for the individual and the family💕💕
A beautiful voice for the soul returning home I hope to be able to work with a Death Doula (angel) possibly in the spiritual aspect here in the US. The requirements are very strict here because of the legal aspects of the system, but the spiritual aspect needs no resume. I was with my dad, as well as my brothers for the final weeks of his passing and it is a heartbreaking healing that I am so grateful to have been a part of. Doula for the beginning and the ending of this journey
Such a beautiful gift it is to be there for someone who is about to pass on.
I’m just starting my certification for EOL Doula and this was very beautiful to watch, No greater love than being of service!
Awesome!! I’ll be starting my training in Jan 2023.

Death, it comes to all of us. May we all be blessed with such people to surround us when it does. ❤

The more worn they are the more powerful they are. A beautiful image to contemplate.
Every person just wants to be recognized as an Individual. I exist! ❤️

Doula for the beginning and the ending of this journey
That’s how I see it. We come in. We go out. There is so much preparation for birth and celebration, why not for the going out also ♥️
I hate death.
It’s just so tragic and sad 😪💔
It's just part of life, and who knows what happens after death, I'm not religious but I would like to think that there is another place.
Thank you
