The solo net job can be a pain but it’s definitely an advantage having it if you are releasing fish. I agree with you about sliding them up on bank. People often grip fish too tightly to control a fish without a net and because of that, nets are helpful to protect the fish
Your having a great season keep it up. You my want to let people know this is the time to fish for herring in the Newport area great bait for springer and fun catch, take kids some people like to pickle them . Plus set some crab pots and make a day it
hell yeah nice video brian i was gonna go thursday but well ya know river had other plans lol we gotta make a trip out there together before the end of the season!
How is it that you’re fishing for steelhead using Salmon eggs when it’s illegal in Oregon? I’ve been trying to catch my first steelhead and I’ve been at it almost two seasons, going a minimum of three times a week. What system are you on if you don’t mind me asking. Just need some sort of direction and I’d prefer to fish bait if I could just for the confidence if nothing else. Thanks for the awesome videos .
Why would you say it’s not legal? Most fish I’ve caught this season have been using soft and hard beads under a float but the main rivers I fish allow using eggs. (Oregon Coastal Rivers)
@@jenniferhalstead2350 I will be looking forward to seeing your first Steelhead Picture in my email! Keep trying and I’ll send some Automagic vibes your way!
Haha I was trying to help you out by swinging my phone to the left. Maybe I need to get out myself
Ha ha, that comment totally cracked me up. I spit out my drink.
Perfection! Nice fish, and a great video!
Some say I get extremely lucky 🍀.. I call it Automagic!!!!
Awesomeness Brian, great first fish!!!
Thanks!
Nice Work!
Thank you, Rick
First cast! Soo good. Nice fish
Thanks friend
That's a really nice fish.
Thanks!
Nice job brian
Thanks Hitch
Good job today. Great release on the older fish. Ditch you net, it's more hassle than it's worth. Just slide em' up onto the bank.
