You're not the only one who mistakes the plastic protection screen for the actual screen. I had my microwave for about a year before I realized there was one over the buttons. I just thought it was cheaply made when the buttons started warping. It was a months after that before I checked to see if there was any removable plastic covering it. There was. I'm so smart.

i've exprerienced it with my phone, almost one month ignoring the plastic protection and kinda sad because i thought the phone screen is poorly made, but then i realize after i remove the custom phone case, i can remove the plastic protection, im really happy because thats is the phone that ive bought from my first ever salary from work

So huion just took a major leap towards kicking wacom off of their long overdue megalomanical throne. Awesome!
First time they used a bonded screen and tilt here. They're certainly getting there. Now they just need to start kicking up the resolution on the displays to 2K or 4K for larger ones; possibly touch support too and they'll be blow for blow with Wacom in terms of featues.
except i hope they dont ever try the touch support. nobody i know uses it on wacoms, everyone is breaking their backs to actually turn it off. luckily the new line of intuoses (not sure about cintiqs) has a hardware switch to kill touch completely.

@@erikmarkus7467 touch on a drawing display is a bad idea from the get go 😂 sure with a frameless display with designated touch zones insted of buttons would work in a stylish way but a touch display on a screen ment for drawing with a pen is just a no go 😁

The XP-pen 13 is cheaper and has a batteryless pen.
skilarbabcock I bet it won’t be as good pressure sensitivity wise, though, and there probably will be other things better on the kamvas.

I’ve got a huion for £20 and it’s pretty good. The only issue I have is that I find it difficult to see what I’m doing whilst drawing but that’s my issue
When I was able to finally afford a tablet this tablet was avalible and cheap for pre-order! I bought it and after 2 months they told me it arrives tomorrow! It was meant to be!

So this tablet only uses HDMI and a normal USB to plug into your computer + the power cabl? Im wondering because I bought a Cintiq pro 13 for my birthday but I didnt know that I needed a mini-display port to plug it in. No adapters worked for some reason so I had to return the whole thing.
But this Huion Kamvas pro 13 looks exactly as good and is more than half of the price cheaper. With the shipping it would be like 354.9 $ compared to the 999.95 for the Wacom Cintiq pro 13.

CrystalGems TV I don't think so. The Cintiq Companion series and Mobile Studio Pro are the only Wacom products that are displays as well as computers themselves. So, anything else would just be a display tablet or regular graphic tablet.

I have 2 tablets, this one and cintiq 22, and it still doesn't beat my wacom table. Im a embroidery digitizer, and I still love my wacom for most of my work. Im still learning about this tablet and its just as nice as the wacom and its so smooth to digitize on.

So how do digital tablets like this work in terms of what applications you can use on them? For this one specfically, do you just hook it up to your desktop and move your drawing application's screen to the digital tablet? Or does the tablet have it's own operating system that you have to download apps on?
I know this is eight months late but incase someone else needs the answer and stumbles upon this question, tablets like these are like fancy monitors. It hooks up to an already existing pc and you can set it up like you would a dual monitor set up or any other set up as you would with monitors.
Just bought it! It is one of the cheapest on the market and it will be my first display tablet, so I thought it was a good fit for me. Cant wait!

Actually just bought this a couple minutes ago. I have a Huion GT-191 and a Cintiq pro 24, and ironically have line wobble issues on both. I don't care about parallax, so Huion products are fine for me. Now I will see how their newer products hold up.
It'll be interesting to try when I'm out with my laptop.

If anyone is looking for a better stand, Parblo makes a great stand that keeps the tablet from slipping off the bottom and the stand arm is like the one that comes with the bigger Huion tablets.

I recently got one for Christmas but then soon realized that I needed a computer but I don’t know what one I should get!
I'm no expert, but any computer with 8gb of RAM or more should be the standard for normal digital drawing. Try looking up on Google for further certification.
Windows 7 or up/Mac OS 10.2 or up
After this I got a Kamvas pro 13 and it works amazing!
I'm so happy this is a thing because I've been looking for a tablet I can draw directly on and everything and the size is perfect for me and everything because I don't like tablets that you draw on which are shown on the computer, I'm not super familiar with art tablets as my family isn't the best money wise, as well as paper and pencil work, I'd love to draw digitally as well so I'm probably going to save up for this, thank you for showing us this Jazza!!!

just bought one brand new for 120 bucks. the seller's family member gifted it 3 years ago and they hadn't opened it since. so they just soled it for like 200 less.

If you haven't seen it; he recently reviewed the Huion Inspiroy H950P, unfortunately not a display tablet but he praised it highly. Otherwise, the tablet he shows in this video is relatively cheap, especially with the discount codes.
For Example the tablet I use is a Wacom Cintiq 13HD which cost me 600-700 GBP. This Huion kamvas Pro13 Looks extremely similar and it's much less than half that price.
@@mugo1999 Yeah, I've looked into buying the wacom before but it was always way out of my price range since I wouldn't be using it professionally. I was so sursprised (and delighted) to see that there actually are decent display tablets for a good price.
A wacom intuos pro medium sized is quite cheap and really nice!

I’ve been waiting for a serious review of this tablet and this one leaves lots of questions unanswered.
Jitter? Latency? How does tilt work? How is the parallax as this is the first non-Wacom / non-Apple bonded screen tablet and promises less parallax. How is the line quality on a Mac / PC?

Xander - GT 220 and GT 221 don't have bonded screens and tilt support. This new Huion could be a game changer which is why people like me really want to know about it.

Just want to tell people who are interested in the tablet. There is a big offset which is a bit offputting. The screen is a bit difficult to be working with. It's better to use this tablet without the screen but then you could just as well buy one of the cheaper models. I don't recommend buying it until Huion fix the offset issue which is crucial for a tablet with a screen since otherwise there is no point in having the screen.

I have been watching this for a while. I have been an artist for years and never got into digital art. I want to get into it but have been afraid. After watching this I might jump on this deal before it is over!
The 13 suffers with that god-awfull all-in-one cable that you can't run to the store to replace. You're stuck with waiting on a literal slow boat from China to deliver it, which means weeks of potential down-time. The Pro 22 is crazy expensive.
The sweet spot, if you can afford it, is the pro 20. It's hundreds less than the Pro 22, has all the right features (2 less shortcut buttons, and less than 2 inches of screen space)

They're available on Amazon for $35. Same with nibs and everything.
luckily the new 13 2020 can also use an all in one USB-C cable (20-30 bucks on amazon) that can power everything. However the port is recessed so only certain USB-C can fit and it has to be a power AND data cord (hence the huion branded one)

My 13 y/o Wacom Intuos 3 finally died yesterday and I got myself the non-pro Intuos Medium (in big rush) as stopgap. And holy shit after 5 hours of use the surface was already badly scratched and two nibs were replaced. Compared to my old Intuos 3, nibs were replaced once every 3 months and twice for the overlay in that 13 years. Wacom's QC really has gone downhill badly.
I really can't see my new intuos can last more than 14 months, definitely will look for other brands when that day comes.
I really wanna know how long it will last in a year, I don't wanna get a cheaper tablet and have it die in a year. I have a wacom intuos tablet I have had for 5 years and I wanna make sure that it doesn't break so soon :/ I am thinking about buying this but I need to see more reviews for it before i really think about it.
wish I saw this deal earlier, I am hesitant because I don't know much about Huion and it is a preorder, but when the preorders first started it was $280, much easier to take a leap of faith on. Either way, still loads cheaper than the $1000 Wacom alternative. Just wish there were some reviews on how it holds up before the deal ends.

I would HONESTLY get it if it worked with Toon Boom but it doesn't and I have to work with Toon Boom, no exceptions.

I’ve never had a screen tablet before and I recently bought a new medium Wacom tablet at the beginning of June. Part of me wants to buy this display because it’s a good price (even without the discount) and it has everything I want. But I also just dropped $200 dollars on my other STILL NEW tablet... it’s not my first tablet, I’ve had a smaller tablet for 5 years already... I don’t know maybe I’ll wait for more reviews then splurge for Christmas...?

Q: What is your favourite animated movie?
I just got one of these for my birthday and I seem to be having this issue with the cursor being offset with my pen tip. No matter how many times I've calibrated and recalibrated it still is off set.
Don't get me wrong this is a wonderful tablet. This one thing had been making harder for me to draw especially when I do line work on my drawings.
How bad is it? Because most of this tablets does have parallax. Mine is a huion 156 HD v2 and it does have it, but I think this specific model 13" has a lot less. In my case is not that bad, only in certain parts of the screen the cursor will be exactly under the nib of the pen. It can be way offset especially on the borders of the screen, but personally in the main area where I actually draw, don't have much trouble. What I do, is to look at the cursor/crosshair on the screen rather than focusing on the nib of the pen. It's working for me. And I'm also using the default callibration.
PJ better be paid like super well. I edited a school project and it took like two hours but it was only six minutes of footage.
How did you use it immediately?
When I turned mine on I get my home screen with none of my apps.
And I'll open an art program on my pc but it doesn't appear on my TABLET but my tablet is on and does show my home screen

Just a quick question: I use a Mac mini and it only has a singular HDMI port which is used to hook it up to my monitor. Is it necessary to use the HDMI cable from the tablet or can I get by with just the USB? Note that I don’t have the money or ports to buy a new desktop and or HDMI to USB converter.
