So what stomp box do you recommend? :) You mentioned a couple, but also mentioned their drawbacks. Hopefully something relatively new and not too expensive...
Hi, the best way in my opinión is to match IR with the violin tone, is the way i do. I use Mfreeformequalizer (an vst plugin) i record my violín and i match It with an IR or with a very well recorded violin
I would like to learn the violin, but noise with the neighbors etc. Can u recommend a violin ? I assume a electric one I could use with earphones so not to upset my neighbors or son who has sensory issues. Thanks!
@@jamesisaac3972He explained it already. He can’t get a “normal violin”. Not everybody’s situation is the same. That’s why there are multiple options.
@@ElectricViolinShopI have a Yamaha YEV 104 with headphones, although I was informed by music teachers that it's safer as a beginner to learn on a "normal violin" because electric has the tendency to mask flaws. You can always put a muter on a "normal violin" too.

Tasty chips integral if you have the money and want to get really experimental. It's on my hit list.
What's your thoughts on the 3Sigma IRs?
I own one. I dig it.

Renting a normal violin wouldn't be a bad idea at first.

Probably something like a Yamaha YSV104.
